Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband's classic Italian grill sandwich was delicious, while my Chicken Teriyaki was dry, too much Teriyaki sauce and overcooked. Fries and lemonade was good.

Very friendly staff with good food and quick service. I had the philly cheese steak sandwich and it was delicious.

I stopped here on my way to Pittsburgh for work recently. I had a great hot "Reuben", and my co-workers raved about their hot chicken parm sandwiches. The fries were amazing covered in the "seasoning salt". Great value, and good food.

Our first time at this Penn Station. My tuna sub was great and the fries were also very good, as usual.

We stopped here for dinner on our drive to Washington DC because we wanted more than fast food junk. The young man taking order might have been new? which further delayed everything. Then there was only one cook. We easily waited 15-20 minutes for our food. I ordered the chicken teriyaki with onions, peppers & mushrooms and it was all onions. The fries were good but Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience.

We use Penn Station strictly for takeout. Service is fast & efficient, and the sandwiches are very good (they don't skimp on the meats and cheese!). My favorite is their Italian sub, with ham, salami, banana peppers, lettuce & tomato, with a generous splash of oil & vinegar dressing. Yummm... You can select 6, 8, 10 or 12 inch subs. I like the flexibility of that -- sometimes we get a 10" and split it, but the 6" is good for just one person. Call ahead, or order at the counter. You won't be disappointed.

Stop here every trip. As far as I consider this is the best Penn station we eat at nation wide. Clean and so friendly.

Penn Station was one of my favorite go-to lunch destinations in Columbus so when I was in WV recently -- Penn Station seemed like a logical choice. The Elkview area of WV was (still is) recovering from some serious flooding and a number of local eating places were still not back in business. We were to Penn Station during the lunch hour. The food was good -- typical of other Penn Station locations I've eaten in and the service was fine. However, their soft drink machine was on the fritz so no soft drinks and they had lemonade but no ice. It was a little hard to enjoy lunch while sipping on warm lemonade. In normal times, I'd rate this as a 2-star but considering the local efforts to recover from the floods, I'm going to stretch and give them 3 stars. The sandwiches and fries were good and the service was good -- just fell down on the drink side.
