This restaurant has had new owners for 9 weeks and what a gem. If you want to eat the essence of Pacific Northwest seafood,this is the place Every restaurant on the coast says it has the best clam chowder..this place succeeds. The chowder is full...of meaty oysters with a nice smokey taste. The crab Louie is extremely generous and extremely tasty. One of the new owners took care of us on our 2 visits and she is a true delight. If you are near Astoria, this is the place.More

Visiting our daughter for a few days, and she took us to the CR Roadhouse. Tables are sanitized, and separated throughout the dining area. We were seated and our waitress quickly took our order for drinks and gave us a minute to review the menu....One of the specials was halibut fish and chips, with coleslaw. Our daughter ordered a margarita, which was so good! My husband got a bloody mary which he said was pretty good also. We decided on the halibut fish and chips, even though it was a little more than I expected. It was really good! The coleslaw was just the way I like it...not too sweet, not to much vinegar. Our waitress was friendly, and attentive. Thank you.More

Signage says new owner and menu. We hadn't been there before so decided to try it. I eat mostly vegetarian and found little of interest. There's a black bean burger and salads. I don't like black bean burgers so I had a side salad and...a scoop of mashed potatoes. That was $12. My husband had a double bacon cheeseburger and fries. He enjoyed it, but it was $18. We both felt the meal was a bit pricey. Also, our waitress never did come by to check on us or refill our water. We most likely will not go back.More

We stopped for lunch one day while driving through. Best clam chowder I have ever eaten!! We grew up in this area and come back frequently to visit, so have eaten our share of chowder. This is unique and wonderful!! I also had the prawns,...which were very good. My husband had all you can eat ribs. He said each bite of ribs just melted away before he could even chew it! Very flavorful and very tender. We will be back!!More

We ordered the clams to share, my first taste seemed something wasn’t right, then find atleast 6 unopened clams in the bowl, we that was enough for me, our waitress just wanted us to pay and go, the second waitress seemed like she would do...something about it, nope not help, we have eaten here many times, and just hope it was an off night. But still think we should have paid for those clams!More

My friend and I stopped for a late dinner. She ordered steak and I had salmon with fried okra. Truly that was the best salmon I have ever eaten! The Roadhouse is a combination restaurant and sports bar. The waitress was an expert at keeping...my coffee cup full and other customers' glasses/cups filled too.More

We stopped here on our way from Fort Columbia and Cape Disappointment, and I’m sure glad we did! The food was great, the atmosphere was fun, and the service was good! We will definitely stop here again!
