The first spot we visited in Opua for a meal.
Great selection, very well priced, and a lovely view.
Get in early on member night, it is packed to the rafters.
Highly recommend this local gem....

Really good food and value for money. Menu choices are great.
Have tried pretty much everything on the menu and never been disappointed. Very friendly. Try the pork ribs - really tasty and a big meal.

Good menu choices, good meal sizes and good value. Great spot on the edge of the harbour. Eat out on the deck or inside. Drinks are club prices. All in all - good value.

Pleasant place, great view to watch the yachts and powerboats arrive and welcoming. Food is simple but good. We were able to take the dogs onto the outside deck

Upon arrival the place was very full so we got a table outside. The fact that it was so busy did not faze the bar staff or the kitchen staff.
The drinks were well priced and the food delicious

These guys make you feel at home away from home. My favourite theme is all about value and it is certainly that here with regards to drinks, food and views... top spot on the harbour.

Had a delightful evening last night playing in a team with a few locals on Thursday’s Quiz Night. The friendly atmosphere comes with good pub food at reasonable prices. Bus your own table - it’s a yacht club, not a restaurant!
Oh, and we came third out of about 8 teams, and learned a few new bits of trivia, including that the original name for Opua was “Newport.” Who knew?!

Another great New Zealand sailing club, friendly, welcoming, simple, done very well. Food and drink choices the norm but excellent quality and even had to leave some the portions were so big.

I had several dinners (and beers) at the cruising club last week. I especially enjoyed the fish and chips and the roast pork. Burger was great too (and thick patty)! Tui Beer on tap as well. Can’t go wrong with that! Very nice people as well, both staff and guests.

We sailed into Opua from Fiji last Wednesday and after clearing in it was great to be welcomed into the Opua Cruising Club, and enjoy a couple of beers and some great food.
The atmosphere in the club is really good, the food is great and not expensive. Great beers too! Well worth going to!

Good friendly place to have a drink, chat and a good meal.easy parking and a nice outlook.A mix of people from local boaties,fisherman, sailors and foreigners sailing to nz, as opua is the customs port of entry for foreign boats entering nz.

Great club house food. Fish and chips was a generous serving which made up for the slightly pricey bill. Self service as is normal for a club. Nice local feel. Lovely fireplace.
