Ordered a corn beef benny, which is a form of corn beef hash brown with poached eggs. Our expectations were quite high because having dined here previously flavours have always been good with all meals. We were not disappointed, this cafe one of the gems...More

Great place before or after a Movie and any other time. Lovely place to have a coffee and bring the dog (outside). Never seen the place empty. That speaks for itself. Indoor and outdoor coffee and dining. Lovely service too.More

Thanks Vivienne, Yep, we're doggy friendly on the patio or sidewalk, as long as they're well behaved pooches of course. No naughty hounds allowed, whether 2 or 4 legged!! And yes, we're very lucky to be a popular place for the locals....so see you again...More

Just passing through Kerikeri and came across this place by chance. All we wanted was a real sandwich and this cafe provided that. A freshly made, home style ham, egg and lettuce sandwich which was lovely. Also we brought a Glutenfree vege parcel, which was...More

Visited several times whilst staying in Kerikeri, sometimes to watch a film and grab a civilised bite, sometime just a great place for coffee and cake. Really impressed with their standards, food quality and friendly service, whether for a full meal or something rather less....More

Great little cafe and setting, don't let the name put you off. . You can just go for the meal. . But if you have time it's well worth taking advantage of the movie and meal deals they have on offer. .

Thanks for that...is the name off putting? The Cinema is a great add-on- but yes, we have many local regulars for breakfast, lunch and dinner . Cheers!

I like the food but the English lady does not know how to make a good cappuccino. I had a takeaway cup, large. Honesty, it was a coffee milk shake.

Ok, that's not good. We are known for great coffee and consistency is important, so we have discussed this with her. Next time, say something at the time in person, so we can replace your coffee.

Description
"IT'S YOUR PLACE" ...That's what we like to say, so welcome to our place which is also your place. We enjoy the company of our local clientele who have become regulars at the restaurant and created a great community with whom we share our lives every day. It's the 'local' place to hang out for coffee and chats and a great place for meals all day. Our chefs are passionate about fresh food, prepared beautifully and served with style. We are committed to healthy and delicious food that satisfies all tastes, so whether it's our famously tender and tasty calamari, or our weekly fish dish specials, or a vegetarian delight, a hearty steak, or a divine dessert, we'll have something just for you. Our commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness is important to us, and we serve free range chicken, pork and eggs. We recycle everything we can from bottle tops (Kidney Kids Foundation fundraisers), to food waste (pigs, and compost). Our community, our tamariki (children) and the wider whanau (family) mean everything, and we support our local charities and services wherever and however, we can to support our community. So...Welcome...To your place.
