Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a lovely place this was to have breakfast. Great service, quick to get food to the table, good choices of what to eat, nice atmosphere, lovely staff. When you go to find a place to sit, there are many choices - lots of wee...nooks to be private or be around others - like little separate places within one building, yet together. Loved it. So good to see an old building revamped into an eatery - very well done and will be back when next in Greytown - thank you!!More

Cahoots, on Greytown's Main Street, has been my go-to café ever since we moved to the area a year ago. If you are looking for brand-spanking new, all steel and glass with outdoor furniture that won a design award, this is not the place for...you. On the other hand, if a comfortable, relaxed, well run, slightly Bohemian eatery - with great food, excellent coffee and friendly, effortlessly professional staff - fills the bill, then look no further. I think Cahoots Café is wonderful and can't recommend it highly enough.More

Popped in for lunch while we were in Greytown for the Mid winter Christmas Festival. Lovely staff and service. Very popular. Enjoyed my parkvale mushrooms and bacon on ciabatta. Yum. Can highly recommend Cahoots Cafe

We came here twice in two days and had the friendliest service. My partner mentioned he had the best mince savoury and coffee of his life there. Lovely little cafe with a simple but great menu and cabinet food.

Had breakfast in this funky little cafe yesterday and couldn’t wait to repeat the experience again today! Is now officially my favourite cafe in town.... Enjoyed the friendly service, the bonhomie of the (obviously) returning customers and of course the great coffee. I had the...mushrooms with a side of bacon, yum 😋 so good. My friend had the French toast which she proclaimed to be delicious and very well presented. Another big tick for this cafe is the free range eggs ~ way to go Cahoots! We will be back on our next roadie 😊More

I normally take the time to photograph my food so I can post a review. In this case the breakfast was so good I wolfed it down before I had the chance to think about it. Each ingredient was well cooked and delicious, especially the...eggs. Can’t rate this highly enough.More

Quirky little cafe with Yummy coffee and yummy food. Small business and very busy, the lovely lady at the counter was still smiling even when it was crazy and people were getting impatient.

Says it has vegan options but it doesn’t unless you count tomatoes, spinach and mushrooms as a meal. Lady was very friendly about it and seemed actually quite embarrassed that they couldn’t cater better for vegans.

Lovely local cafe with a cool vibe and an awesome culture about their service. Loved this place. Went back a couple of times. Would have been more except for a public holiday. I reckon their homemade pies are a well kept secret - my son...can vouch for the awesomeness. Great menu. Simple. Tasty. Did I mention how friendly they were?More

We came here for a very good eggs Benedict for breakfast. The food was delicious and served reasonably quickly considering how busy they were. There is seating down the side of the cafe so check for a seat here if the main space is full.

Welcoming atmosphere and friendly chatty staff made our visit. It was very busy so we were told the wait for hot food was 40 mins. Happy to wait with coffee in the pleasant outdoor area. The food was delicious when it came.

Unfortunately dissatisfied with breakfast this morning. Everything was Luke warm apart from the hash brown and tomato. Very oily as well. Scone was nice.

We love stopping off here when running through Greytown. The staff are lovely, the decors is cool and cooky, coffee is delicious but best of all the pies are AMAZING! Something about the puff pasty here that keeps it moist and not overlay dry like...other places. You’ll miss out on life if you don’t try their steak and cheese pie!More
