Most pleasant tasting experience - the young French lady was informative, pleasant and cheerful. The wines were excellent although the Pinot Noir was the best. We bought a few bottles including a Tempranillo (we're going to have a tasting of our own comparing that with...some Hawke's Bay Tempranillos). Would recommend for tasting - we couldn't stay for food as it appeared to be fully booked upMore

Honestly, this is the best lunch in the area. They do one thing which is a platter, and its phenomenal. You can also pair this with a wine tasting and if it is quiet you frequently have Poppy (who is delightful) of Poppies running the...tasting. We go here every time we are in the area, but again, book earlyMore

Outstanding service, wine and food. Tasty platter and loved their rose, Pinot Gris and Pinot noir. Poppie did the tasting and was very engaging and gave great stories about each wine.

Great venue, very friendly and obliging staff and great service. Food platters outstanding, including the vegan platter. Wine was great. We were lucky to be able to sit outside with our little dog in tow. The staff even provided a water dish for her which...was really nice. Very happy with our visit and highly recommended. Can't wait to visit again soon.More

One of a few wineries we visited for tastings during our stay in the Wairarapa. Nice wines. We may have caught them on a bad day but tasting was very rushed and the tastings barely touched the bottom of the glass. Have probably been to...over 50 wineries in NZ and this was definitely the smallest serving, not enough to taste the wine.More

Not a bad stop for wine tasting - wine good but a little on the pricey side compared to the other wineries nearby. Lovely setting and friendly staff.

We where on a wine tour last Friday of Martinborough and our guide Brian took us to Poppies... What an amazing owner/wine maker Poppy is - she was passionate about her wines justifiably so. We purchased a bottle of Rose (should have brought more might...have to go on line) Thanks for your great wines Poppy - W&WMore

Sorry for late reply. Wine tasting was free if you got the platter. Maybe $5 if you didn't. Yes i would recommend booking to avoid disappointment
