Lovely place by the beach!

Lovely place by the beach. Blankets & big umbrellas for rainy weather. Very quick service with nice staff. Toilets were clean and the staff was great with COVID rules. Nice food, would definitely recommend!

Great venue

The service was excellent and the food was good, lovely restaurant and was very busy. Only criticism is that it was uncomfortably warm inside.

Really great food, good service and nice atmosphere. You have to visit this place and enjoy it next to the sea. We got bread for starter and very nice steak perfectly made!

The Best on the Beach all the way to Den Helder

Good but Pricey

The Food is good but definitely overpriced. Staff is friendly. You should not mind to wait a couple of minutes for the seating as the Restaurant can get quite busy.

Nice setting, staff too slow or not enough staff? Ordered 3 pork roast (at first I was told it was beef, menu did not mention the type of animal} which came one 90 percent raw and the others 10 percent raw. Had to bring to kitchen myself because no staff. After long time received new which perfect for the meat but totally overcooked for the vegetables (were in hot stove together?). Got one free drink offered and staff promised to return later for the same for other 2 whose drinks were not yet rmpty. Staff never returned for that despite empty glasses. Very, very disappointed I will never return here.

Good food, great location

Excellent restaurant on the beach. Great sea views and atmosphere. Fish dishes were well prepared. Ribs looked great. Only drawback for us was no English menu but staff helped with menu interpretation. Prices were average for higher end restaurant with entrees 18-25euros.

Good Food at moderate prices

Friendly service, fresh prepared dishes and casual atmosphere. Sometimes a little bit crowded - reservations recommended. Great view to the sea! Nearby the center of Callantsoog.

Nice lunch and dinner at beachfront

The beach restaurant Woest is opened 365 days of the year which is recommended to stop for a visit in the stormy season as the restaurant is on the beachfront. Parking is a bit of a struggle as it is forbidden to park in the Dutch dunes which are a protected landscape. The walk is a few minutes and can be refreshing with the nice wind. The menu offers a variety of dishes which are all very nice. The staff is friendly.

Delicious lunch, service can be better

A friend and myself we had a delicious vegetarian lunch there. The menu that of a good restaurant rather than a snackbar with exotic and well tasting dishes.

Great view

Beautiful place and huge terrace. Service is friendly. The food is nicely presented. The burrata tasted good, just (my personal opinion) the dille was not a good match on the dish. The spare ribs-pork belly tasted well. A little on the dry side and the portion was huge, couldnt finish it. Dessert was good, the coco-creme brulee was the best course of the dinner. The view was fantastic!

Fantastic View, Good Dishes

We have spent one evening for dinner in Woest. You can sit outside and inside, rustic ambiente and good view to the seasite guaranted. Typical dinner for this area with local dishes including fish, meat and unusual but tasty salads. Very polite and good service, even if restaurant is well visited.
