Despite fecal residue in the toilet bowl, worth repeating

There was still poop from the previous guest in the toilet bowl. I removed that with the toilet brush. Much too small washbasin so that the water sprays out in all directions. The small rooms are attractively furnished, the beds are good. Good parking space. The waiter barely spoke German and did not understand us at all. The ordered white wine (Pinot Blanc!) was delivered as red wine (Merlot). The cheese platter was delivered twice and we did not eat it, but we did have to pay for it. By the way, the vegetarian food (lots of choice!) was good and tasty. Despite the poop in the toilet bowl, worth repeating.

We were actually looking forward to a good local cuisine!! Unfortunately, it only stayed with good service. The table spit was initially served cold, then without pep, The horseradish sauce not recognizable! The best was the beetroot salad! The parallel ordered onion roast satisfying but not, as desired, medium but through! Surely it is hard to run an orderly gastronomy these days, but you should not be surprised if Lieferando and co continue to have a presence

The staff were very attentive and super friendly. They responded to almost all requests. The atmosphere was very nice. The wine list was requested - forgotten. Sauce - after asking twice, it came. Meat broth? - tasteless - for me - package? - Children's food, complained about 3 times. Chanterelles with pasta, bland, but great mushrooms, Doughnuts with spinach - spinach very salty, crunched when eating, sand??, the dumplings were too al dente for me. - matter of taste. Meat and spaetzle, good.. After adding seasoning several times, the food was OK. Hot and delivered quickly. Not easy to find everyone's taste.

I personally booked the wellness area at reception, which was also noted for the following day. Neither on the website nor at reception was there any information that this only applies to hotel guests! 20 km journey for nothing.

Good option between the city center and legoland. Room comfortable and clean, very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. The only thing we got a bit disappointed is because the bowling was close for renovation and we didn’t know.

Lovely beer garden, good service, friendly staff

We ate our evening meal here as it's very close to the Eurohotel. It's a great atmosphere, waiting staff wearing tradition Bavarian attire, and they are really friendly people. They gave us an english menu, the service was efficient and they were helpful with questions about the menu. The beer was just divine and we sat in the beer garden to eat our meal. I believe this is very close to Legoland, we didn't visit there but the Eurohotel and the Linde hotel would be good places to stay if you have children. Prices were reasonable and the food was really nice.

Really good service and food

We had an evening meal after spending a long day at Legoland. It's about 5 minutes by car from the park. We showed up without reservation, but I would probably recommend to make a booking through their website during peak season. We were 3 : 2 adults, one of them a vegetarian and 1 child (7 yrs). There are several good vegetarian options which is great and perhaps a bit unusual for a German typical restaurant. For the children, there is an excellent (and cheap) menu with about 5 choices. They also have plenty of choice for meat and fish eaters. The food was really to our satisfaction. What I enjoyed most was the excellent and friendly service (in English upon request). Very nice place and definitly much better value for money in comparison to the legoland options.

We like this place for a stop on our way to the South, Good quality, enormous schnitzels, nice salads, nice beer garden... not very special but a fair price and quick service, We also like the hotel which is a bit more expensive but equally solid and well managed..

A great Beer garden after a long day at Legoland!

If you have a long ride getting to Legoland it's best to stay for the night and make it a two day trip. After hanging out the whole day in the sea of Lego bricks, wandering around from attraction to attraction this nice relaxing beer garden comes just like heaven sent! Quick, friendly service, great food served in decent size portions and, of course, cold German beer put a memorable finish to a long joyful day. The kids liked the play ground while the grown-ups enjoyed the sun set with a glass or two of typical Bavarian wheat beer.

We had some great food here on an overnight stop. I had the Wiener schnitzel and my husband had pork medallions in a lovely creamy mustard sauce. Drinks good too and excellent service

The best evening food near Legoland

This was our default dinner place after a day at Legoland. We discovered it by chance as we intended to see the historic old town of Günzburg and the address (Hauptstraße, Günzburg) made us believe we are right on track. Instead it is in the part of town called Deffingen, right across from a petrol station. Nevertheless, the beer garden was perfect on a warm summer day. We returned the next time and equally enjoyed our stay there. The next three times we could only sit inside due to the weather but even without reservation we always found a place (although this place is well frequented). Many visitors seem to be families with kids – staff is prepared with a kids menu and coloring pencils and a play area from smaller kids outside. Hence, no “kids” feeling for couple who just want a nice dinner. Bavarian specialties like Obazte, Swabian dishes like lentils or Maultaschen. Big portions for average prices (small prices if you have spent money on food at Legoland before). In the cellar they also have bowling – not the newest state of the art equipment, but still a lot of fun. Cheaper than Piraten Bowling at Legoland Feriendorf.
