My husband surprised me for my birthday and I absolutely loved it! Cosy setting with some artistic touches and a warm welcome with a big smile that lasts the whole evening. We took the 4 course menu and it was delicious. Every course was a...surprise to long for. Great presentation, big portions, fresh ingredients and good quality. Pleasantly surprised by the waiters attention towards my hand in plaster, he friendly asked me if I allow them to make it easier to eat my lobster so I don’t have to bother my hand much. Loved the staff and friendly owners, will definitely go back. Thank you for a great birthdaydinner with extra ice cream, you made two people happy ;-)More

I was invited here on a business meeting, and when I saw the restaurant from outside I assumed it was a basic restaurant. However, upon entering I was pleasantly surprised how beautifully decorated, well thought through, with a lot of attention to detail. The open...kitchen and the quality menu is great, with excellent value. Highly recommended if you are in the areaMore

I pass this restaurant on a daily basis and the parking area is always full, it was my partners birthday and thought I would give it a try to celebrate, and we were not disappointed, much bigger than it looks from the outside and the...food was first class and very reasonable prices, portions very generous, and the staff very friendly and helpful, you can even book a table situated in the kitchen to watch the chef at work, it did take a while for our orders to arrive, mainly because they were very busy, but the food arrived hot and well presented, the location is not in the town of Maldegem, but by the side of a busy road were would not expect to see a restaurant, a hidden gem I would say, if you are ever passing through Maldegem on your way to Gent or Brugge via Maldegem I would certainly recommend this restaurant, it is open for Saturday lunch closed Saturday evening, Sunday and Monday, which in the U.K weekends would be the main days for people to eat out. Overall a very nice restaurant first class food and service will certainly be going again in the future for me full marks all round. Please note that you would need to reserve a table it is a very popular restaurant.More

We went there a weekday at noon and the restaurant was full, so reservation is a must if you want to be sure to have a table. Service was very good. One little disadvantage : when the restaurant is full, it is quite noisy. We...choose the menu Kwizien (3 courses), very good quality, good products. Their contre-filet of limousin beef and home-made french fries are delicious, especially with the pepper-cream sauce. We'll definitely go back.More

We finally succeeded in visiting this restaurant (since it moved to this new location). It's not easy to get in during weekends. You have to make a reservation well in advance. We had something to celibrate and went last thursday so no problem getting a...table. We chose the menu and had great lobster as first dish. Everyone of us found it delicious ... Our main menu was a very nice piece of meat (sorry, forgot the exact name) with a super-fantastic heavenly pepper-sauce and fresh french fries. We ended this great evening with chocolat moulleux and/or cheese. Really a place to visit !!! Even if you are not from the region .... We certainly will be back !!!More
