Tee Me Up A Grilled Cheese!

While visiting DC for a work conference for three weeks, I managed to get away for the weekend to visit my brother in Locust Grove where he and his wife bought a home in Lake of the Woods. In doing so, I knew I would be trying a new restaurant or two. On Saturday afternoon, we stopped into the Fareways Club House for lunch. I ordered the grilled cheese with onion rings, but the waitress brought it with French fries. When I told her about it, she promptly gave me an order of rings too. My brother ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings while my sister-in-law ordered the club sandwich with a bag of chips. While a somewhat greasier meal, it was the good kid of greasy meal you need every now and again. All in all, a great lunch at a beautiful community clubhouse with an awesome waitress.

Seasonal menu with fantastic views and outdoor dining

Restricted to residents and guests. Country club dining experience. Somewhat limited menu attempts to meet all tastes and diets. Flank steak with comicure sauce was delicious.

Decent food with reasonable prices. In the nicer weather you have the option to eat outside on the deck or inside both over looking the lake. The food sometimes is hit and miss on how good it is and if you're a vegan, forget it other a salad !!

Not At All Happy !!!

We were told the food was not good here but had to try it to see for ourselves. I ordered the Beef Tenderloin my wife the crab cakes. The waitress came back after a while to say they were out of the beef I ordered the prime rib instead. My french onion soup was awful and barely warm.My wife said the Caesar salad was tasteless and hardly any dressing.The prime rib tasted good but also barely warm the mashed potatoes not good and again my wife said the crab cakes were barely warm I also do not like that they add 18 % to every bill ( THIS DOES NOT GET YOU GOOD SERVICE SINCE THE SERVER KNOWS THEY GET THE 18 PERCENT EVEN WITH BAD SERVICE )

Lake if the woods

I was driving for 2 hours we were so happy to go and have fun in lake of the woods park but they refuse to let us go inside , I knew a lot of people went there many times not residents or guess but they treat so bad ... They so means to us pffffffff

Delightful patio dinner with good food and service

Sat out on patio overlooking the lake on Friday night eating and listening to music. Service was great. Loved the white sangria and crab cakes were very good as well. Just a delightful setting.

Great food. Choices of formal or casual dining. Also the sports bar plus seasonal open deck dining with summer concerts. Good choice of food and drinks. Specials change monthly. Beautiful lake views all around and good company of friends and family. We love going there especially since we live at the lake.

Lovely lake and environs, plenty of parking, convenient shuttle, spacious Clubhouse and GREAT food.

We attended a lake side wedding at this veenue, and we were pleased that everything went as planned. It's a very nice location with a very pleasant staff.

Disappointment

Joined new friends there for lunch after church on this past Sunday. Eight in our group. Arrived at 12:30. Took 20 minutes to get drinks, then only after we chased down a server. Lunch did not arrive until 2:15. Two of our group were kids, therefore, we thought this was excessive. Food was hot and good when it arrived, server was very patient, but we thought that we should have been told that there would be a delay and we would have gone elsewhere.

What a setting!

The deck. Soft breezes. Great sunsets. AND yummy food. Two of us had the ahi tuna wrap. The portion was huge...we could've easily shared one! The slaw was like my mom's--a great balance of flavors. One in our party had the ahi tuna salad and again we were amazed at the generous portion of tuna. He said the Asian dressing added a perfect touch. The fries looked great and the attentive staff kept our beverages filled.
