Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had a waffle that was advertised as crisp, it wasn't. It was thick, chewy, and soft. I wondered if it was actually prepared there or if it was ready-made and heated in a microwave. The wait staff is excellent, mostly students from nearby George...Mason University. There must have been twenty-five of them serving coffee, bringing food and water. Still, the waffles are, at best, mediocre. I did see some omelets that looked fine with a nice presentation. However, not going back. . .More

Excellent visit! Very great environment, very kind and patient staff, and wonderful food! I love this place a lot and I take my sister and my friends here often. however, it can be a little packed during some hours of the day, but that is...understandable since it is such a great place!More

when we arrived we were told a twenty minute wait. after twenty minutes, they said it would be another thirty minutes. after 50 minutes, they said we would have the table in the corner that was being cleaned off. 10 minutes later, they told us...we could not have that table and they had no idea when we would be seated. Ridiculous.More

The best breakfasts in the suburbs obscured this kitchen’s ability to deliver a Valentine’s dinner suitable to compete with any of the Alexandria and DC top-rated restaurants. A Caesar salad dressed lightly with quality shaved Parmesan and crispy croutons was the opening dish. I had...the lobster tail stuffed with lump crabmeat while my husband had the grass fed filet; both came with a perfectly cooked baked potato. Dessert was the signature beignets accompanied by homemade bourbon ice cream. A truly memorable meal. We won’t overlook Chloez for the next special occasion.More

It’s busy, loud and chaotic on weekends. We’ve been a few times and food is mediocre. Most everything on the breakfast menu has eggs (lots of omelets). Belgian waffle was chewy and rubbery. Home fries were ok. Had to ask for ketchup. No kids menu,...you’re told to order from the sides selection. The fruit cup was nice, had fresh berries. New sign on door asks for customers to pay with cash to fight inflation and use ATM next door. Staff is nice but hurried.More

we go about once a week ... food is always great and freshly prepared -- no pre-made, frozen restaurant stuff ... friendly staff, great specials, wonderful service and an immaculate dining area ... terrific.

Looks like this restaurant could be found at Bethany Beach, DE. Light and airy. You’re able to meet with hostess and it’s easy-going and lots of space. Breakfast Anytime is great for me without over filling. I used to work nights and I’m finding it...hard transfer back to daytime schedules. I like that there are Smoothies available with hearty fruit but they ran out of Peaches, bummer. It’s in a quiet Shopping Center and we’ll return often.More

This little cafe is fairly new to the area, and it is a welcome addition, located in the shopping center next to St. Mary’s historic church. They are open for breakfast, brunch and lunch, and they offer a dinner special each night along with their...regular lunch type menu. We got carryout dinners from them several times during the Covid pandemic, and just recently had dinner inside their bright, cheery dining room. The special that night was meatloaf with mashed potatoes, perfectly prepared and delicious. The servings were large, so we took some home for lunch the next day. They also offered beignets for dessert. They were wonderful little delicate pillows with several different sauces to choose from. This place is a real bright spot in the restaurant desert of the Burke Centre neighborhood.More

Chloez is one of our neighborhood favorites. We've enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner here. The interior is lovely, and soothing, such a marvelous beach decor! There is a small but very well-sheltered area for outdoor dining - it rained throughout tonight's dinner, but we were...fine. (if you'll be dining outdoors, it's best to make a reservation, as space there is limited.) The food is fresh and local, and has been unfailingly excellent! - everything from sandwiches to burgers to scampi to salmon to souvlaki - and the beignets, don't get me started!!!! Service is friendly and professional. This small family-owned business just celebrated their First Anniversary. Do yourself a favor - come and enjoy a fabulous meal, and help ensure that they're here for both many more meals and many more years!More

A great mom & pop beach themed restaurant. Whether for breakfast, brunch, lunch or diner, each time our family have been very happy with out meals. There is a subtle balance of flavors...nothing is over or under seasoned, but excellent in every way. The staff...is wonderful, kind, and friendly. During the difficult time of 2020, they have remained professional, clean, and proactive to doing all they can to promote safety while providing food to the community.
