Great outdoor dining

OK, we're all reluctant to eat indoors given the COVID pandemic. This is the perfect alternative. Tables scattered far and wide in rural setting. You order inside and wait outside. Great pizza with interesting toppings like a Reuben. Wife and I ordered chicken salad, which came out shockingly yellow like it was mustard. Oh no, we thought. But, it actually tasted like everyday chicken salad (not sure why yellow) and there was plenty of meat so it was a win. Prices were great. Excellent place.

Beer, Music, Food, and Disc Golf

The beer was good and not expensive, the music was free and good. I never have played disc golf, it seemed popular. We brought our own food but our friends all ordered and thought it was tasty and a bargain. This is a comfy little place and everyone working there was friendly and helpful. Lots of signage to help remind folks to be respectful of the current situation and requesting masks and distancing. Pretty much everyone we encountered did those things. We came for the music, It was a good day and we will come back.

Tucked Away in the Hills

Arrived here after reading Trip Advisor review. Ordered a flight of beers and a soft pretzel. My beer guy loved the jalapeño beer and we both thought the made to order pretzel was the best we have ever eaten. Can’t wait to return and try their pizzas.

Locals love it

The locals seem to love this place, greeting and talking to others coming and going. Inside dining closed due to COVID-9, enter only to place your order or pick-up. Outdoor seating on patio, front porch, and picnic tables. It has an extensive menu for a small place. We went for the Wood Fired Pizza. We were disappointed in the crust. It was tough rather than crisp or crunch, and had no particular wood flavor. We ordered Hawaiian. It was cheesy and had sufficient sauce. The "ham" usually on Hawaiian was Canadian Bacon and had a particularly good flavor. Overall, an average visit.

we went for lunch today and enjoyed the grounds. Nice outside seating, a dog park, a disc golf (we didn't play). The food and service, hmmm. The "Italian" sausage is not really Italian and it was completely plain without marinara sauce, peppers, or onions like one would expect. Because it was so dry, I asked for sauce and it took a good five minutes to get a tomato paste tasting sauce. He seemed put out of place for my asking of it; wow. The salad was great and I didn't eat my sausage. The cheeseburger pizza was very good. This place was at the top of the list to see and it sadly dropped to the bottom. It's probably fun at night with a crowd, music, and snacks or pizza. My suggestion to the owner - think about a real Italian sausage sub that people will enjoy.

Wonderful place, good beer, good pizza, and great people

Stopped in to try the local beer and ordered a pizza and a sausage sandwich. They had a nice variety of beer and the meat for the sausage was all locally sourced. We met the owner/brewer and he was very nice and told us about the history of the buildings. It is a nice set up, you can sit outside in several areas and there is also space inside. There was live music the night we visited.

Great pizza and beer!

Fantastic pizza, good beer and a great environment. We visited on a Friday afternoon, when it wasn't too crowded, and they've done a good job spacing out tables inside and out for social distancing. They offer beer flights to let you try out their selection - I liked the Dirty Blonde and the Berry Shandy but found the Red Clay a little to bitter for my taste. The pizza was definitely the highlight - both the Mexican and the Chef's were fantastic. Definitely off the beaten path, but a nice drive and a great lunch. Will definitely return again if we're in the area. Tip: There's not much signage in the drive up, but our GPS took us right to the spot.

It was ok. Didn't care for the pretzel. The dough didn't taste like pretzel dough. Bread sticks were good. Chorizo quesadilla was really good. Went into the shop. Nothing great for us.

Great Microbrews and Food

The beers were great. I had a pizza as well. It was really good. I was able to eat in a very socially distanced way. The staff was very friendly. I'll be going back to the area in a few weeks and can't wait to have another microbrew and pizza.

A great time on the farm

A quick review - we have been coming here once a year since they opened the beer operation and each year it gets better. Tonight we went for Father’s Day dinner and the place was busy, but lots of room for everyone. My wife, daughter, and I had tasty beers and pizza. We sat in a covered space with comfortable chairs. The overall experience was outstanding. Thanks

We really enjoyed this place. The people were very friendly. I called ahead and spoke with Lynn and she was very helpful. The drive to Swover is beautiful, as well. Their pizza is the best EVER! I didn’t try it but everyone was raving about their beer. Don’t pass this one up!

The Great Escape

Having been an early patron since the very beginning it’s amazing to see the evolution of Swover Creek from the grounds to the food and beer. Dave and Lynn are not known around the world but in this hidden little corner of the globe they’ve created a very special place for locals and visitors. It’s obvious their hearts are in the right place…it’s all about providing a great escape for the weary minds and bodies that work hard during the week. Come out and sit a spell.

Beer Music Food and Frisbee

Nice friendly folks, good beer and a nice location for some outdoor music. We got all but the Frisbee golf on Saturday. Reasonable prices and fast service. We came because of the music, but will return to try more of the beer. They had a nice selection of the standards, Chocolate Stout, Irish Red, and some creative others. Two different choices for the DD or non drinkers. Dog friendly.
