We have been coming to the resort for many years as we have a house nearby. The various incarnations of the restaurant have never been particularly good. Last night was the last straw: The spring salmon (farm raised) had no seasoning but some chopped scallions, a cold pesto sauce next to it and lukewarm round pasta (server mentioned rice and seasonal vegetables). Wife had 1/2 dozen chicken wings buffalo sauce which were decent but ranch dressing (should be blue cheese) and carrots (should be celery). The spinach and artichoke dip was a green cheesy thing with very small chopped up dark green specks (spinach apparently) and no artichoke chunks to be found. A small bit of plastic wrap was found in the bread accompanying dish. When this dish was delivered, we had to ask twice for little plates. The staff is trying but needs more training. No one came to ask about water or drink refills but were very good about clearing plates (too good). The entire experience is typical of our ongoing experiences here - we are resort members and want things to be better. This is not about the price of the food, other places in nearby Woodstock do a much better job with food and service and do not cost as much or any more. We do not understand all the higher rated reviews. We really would like the resort to get this right

Fast, friendly service. Large portion, well prepared meal. I had the special. It was a tempura chicken with Korean quinoa. Reasonably priced.

Enjoyed a drink created by the bartender herself and the live music was very good. Yummy food too! Parking lot was full, but sat down right away at bar.

Atrocious service!!!

I would give the food 3.5-4 stars but unfortunately the atrocious service made it impossible to enjoy the food! Awful! Had to ask for water refills twice before the waitress finally came and yanked our glasses off of the table as if we had inconvenienced her. I asked to see a manager and realized she to had been continuously walking past our table without asking if we needed anything. By the way, the manager never came to the table to speak with me. The restaurant was not at all busy. Our family was the first customers to be seated for a 11:00 AM reservation. The waitress was straight up hateful!

This place was real busy I think for one reason and that's because it's located at the ski resort and it's ski season. Kids liked their chicken tenders & bacon mac n cheese. Crab cake sandwich was not good and tarter had way to much dill. Yeah I know maybe we should not order a crabcake at a place like this. If you like big soft juicy roided up chicken wings you may like these as the sauce was good. I ask for my wing crispy and that did not happen. If you need to fill a hole in between slope runs I would probably go with a burger and fries.

Hit and Miss …. Today was a miss

We have been coming to the Copper Kettle for years and have found the food to be average bar food quality. Recently they added a few new items so we decided to try them. Burrata Dip. No words can describe how awful it taste. The cheese was old and dry, someone must of confused bruschetta with salsa because there isn’t onions in bruschetta! That was a waste of $12. Since we ordered for pickup it wasn’t something we could send back. I would also like to comment that with the fish and chips to put the tartar sauce separately from the hot food. Hot tartar sauce doesn’t taste good at all. I really wish the copper kettle management would but some energy in giving the kitchen the right training and tools to be a great place to eat for us locals.

Nice Bar/Restaurant scene

After a day of skiing it is so nice to relax in front of a giant fireplace and get a hot chocolate or something stronger. It is a multi-generational place with something for everyone. I enjoyed the Pho, (chicken soup) today!

Their wings are amazing and so are their French fries. The bartender is a sweet helpful guy Bishop I believe. Have been here 6ish times now. And I’ve had a pleasant experience.

We were really looking forward to dining here, and checked out the space earlier in the day. Upon arrival we realized no one was available and they were closed. As out of towners, what a disappointment.

Loved Copper Kettle

Great place for food and drinks. Outdoor seating for those that had pup (we did) or fear of Covid. Got Carry out to take back to our Chalet 2 times and all meals (2 other couples w/ us) were great.

Surprisingly Good

My husband and I ate here once for breakfast and twice for lunch when we were at Bryce for a week. For a casual looking place, the food was sort of special, like it was made by a chef, not just a cook. Breakfast was especially good. The ingredients were all fesh and good quality, and the price was right.

Went for dinner and the food was good for the price but the noise level was quite high. Very barren room with hard chairs and basic seating arrangement. Our server was very good as well as pleasant. They have a large bar for drinks.

Good food. . . but not an extensive selection

We ate here on 2 occasions. . . .and got two completely different menus. The first night that we ate here there was pizza, tacos and other selections of foods. . . .it seemed much more "rounded" for a variety of tastes (and ages). We had the pork loin and a salmon dish. It was a bit weird to be asked how we wanted the pork cooked. . . as we have always been told that pork needs to be cooked fully. The dishes were both good. . . .but the sides were a little small. For the price it should have been possible to get a little more of the vegetables. The second time we went in we were looking forward to getting a pizza. . . but there was a new menu and pizza was not there. It was a Thursday so they were having a Burger night. . . . but we were an hour too early for that. Our second meals were the chicken pot pie (in pastry shell) and a different salmon dish. These meals were also good. . . but the menu did not seem as inclusive as the first one. . . except for the burgers I did not see anything that I thought would appeal to picky eaters or kids. Our servers were fine on both visits. But the noise volume on the first night was just a bit too much for me. . . it was much better when there were less people in the restaurant and no one was at the bar.

Disappointing

I wasn't expecting culinary wizardry, but this meal was really. really below expectations. There are not a lot of nearby choices but it would be better to travel a half mile and get a great meal in Woodstock. The chicken I was served was dry and covered in a disgustingly sweet sauce with too much honey. Service was good, no local wine selections, just disappointing.
