What a lovely hidden gem in downtown Seguin. We stopped for lunch and were boggled by the wonderful menu choices. We opted for two appetizers, Gyoza, which had a perfect ratio of filling and dumpling and the Thai Spicy Crunchy Shrimp, delightful chunks of succulent...shrimp in a not too spicy but very flavorful sauce. We ordered two plates split between three of us, General Tso's Chicken and Vegetable Lo-Mein, both of which were excellent, with plenty of leftovers. We absolutely LOVE A Tan! Hardly a week passes that we don’t eat there at least once. Sean and his crew are always so welcoming and friendly. And the food!! Do not pass up this hidden gem. The cocktails and full bar are delightful. My husband and I celebrated New Years here, it was ideal. No crowds, no college students, just blissful adult conversation and we were the only ones at the bar and had...it to ourselves. All of the staff were excellent. The sushi selection was very good, better than I’ve had at other big name sushi restaurants in San Antonio. I’m loving that seguin has less fuss and better service than neighboring areas. None of this ridiculous waiting an hour or more for a table...Give this a try, we will be back to try out their beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the creek and park front.More
