We have visited St Omer at least once per year for the last few years often as a stopping off location prior to or just after crossing the Channel, staying either in the town itself or nearby, we have always visited this restaurant for dinner...More

Although it is located at the heart of the old citycenter, prices are reasonably. Food is great (on popular days it can be rather crowded), atmosphere is cool. A building with a rich history. We had the "la patance", there's a surprise coming if you...More

Although the starters were OK, both the main courses were not to our satisfaction. My beef carbonade was excessively sweet. Whilst I know that it is customary to put some sugar or fruit jelly into the dish this exceeded anything I have had before, to...More

Having walked past on many occasions I along with two friends tried this restaurant over the weekend. A solid choice, much better than some of the tourist tripe that is pushed out at some of the other eateries around the market square or on Rue...More

We enjoyed a good lunch outside. The menu is not spectacular but everything is well prepared with a lot of care. The staff is very busy but really helpful and friendly.

The food was amazing. And the atmosphere in the restaurant was friendly and inviting. Very happy staff willing to answer questions, an entire black board of beers. Will definitely visit here again and again.

We went for lunch following a visit to the ww2 museum nearby. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful, the food was hot and good portion sizes and the price very reasonable. We will definitely return here if in the area again.

Nice and busy for a weekday lunchtime in February. We all 4 had the set menu - simple, tasty, generous portions of home made food with chips and well dressed salad. Good friendly service.

The restaurant is most likely better now. The night we went they were severely understaffed and the meal was unpleasant and long this was in 2007, November 10 years ago.

We visited with friend on Friday lunchtime. We were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to a table. The place had an excellent atmosphere with many tables full with local diners. The waiter was very helpful, offering advice on many dishes, beers and wines....More
