We have dined at this restaurant many times. It has an elegant dining room and very appealing menu. We particularly like the presentation of food and the quality from the accomplished chefs is a delight. If you're in St Omer don't miss it !!

A fine venue in which to celebrate a visit to St. Omer. Le Cygne is conveniently placed for all corners of the town.

After visiting the Saturday market in St Omer we wanted lunch before returning home to London. We have eaten at le Cygne many times and usually are there for over two hours. Today we wanted something relatively quick and the market menu fitted the bill....More

What a wonderful experience. Excellent food, good wine list and attentive staff. We chose Restaurant Le Cygne based on Trip Adviser reviews. It didn't disappoint. You can see that the staff work hard (literally) to provide a friendly but professional service. We couldn't fault the...More

We enjoyed our meal at Le Cygne, but were disappointed that they didn't have any foie gras the night we went. The food was very good though and the little amuse bouche tasty. It is clearly trying to be a top quality smart restaurant and...More

We ate here for dinner last night. We had the foix gras for an entree and the grilled turbot for mains. We received an amuse bush prior to the starters. The wine list was quite extensive and we chose an Alsace wine. The service could...More

We walked in off the street to be greeted like old friends. Food, service and ambience of the highest quality. We tried the vegetarian 3-courses, all of which were superb, original and extremely tasty. Wine was a god price. Unobtrusive staff were there when needed,...More

We ate here about 18 years ago. We were impressed with everything presented by the previous owners. This time we found the service did not compliment the the marvellous food and venue. The service was rushed and almost surly. Attentive , sensitive and engaging it...More

I don't know, but don't believe French restaurants in general cater for people with food allergies particularly well.

Closed Monday to my recollection, as are many French establishments. I don't think Gluten Free features on the menu , but it may be worth e.mailing, via their web site. The new management may have included this in an update.
