3rd visit, no change in my opinion

We came with two other couples who had already preplanned the visit. The food remains the same to me. It reminds me of prepared food that is simply warmed up and served. It is just not that appetizing. For the life of me, I do...not see what people see in it. The setting is great and there is much potential but first comes the food. However, in saying this, they are still number one in Little Elm. I am not impressed and sadly will not return.More

Love the food

We went by this restaurant while we were visiting the area. Hostess wasn’t great but the manager was awesome . We told him it was our first time and he explained to us the full layout of this large restaurant which had rooms and outside...patio. Stopped by our table twice to check on us . The complimentary chips are salty and good & the salsa even better . Hubby had the Hula burger made with Waygu beef , he loved it . I had the Thai fajitas , delish. Alcohol Drinks were ok , but with great food like that I didn’t even care . We will definitely returnMore

I love this place!

Great experience! The food is delicious, excellent view and atmosphere. Prices are very good. Sometimes you have to wait to be sitting.

Great Food

We good to hula hut from time to time as a family because we all live close by. The food is great the waiters are nice and helpful Adam does a great job that if we are 8 of us everyone one wants to tip...him $10. I love this placeMore

Superb food, atmosphere, and service

After an August 2020 lunch at Hula Hut Little Elm, I commented to my family that we had waited too long to return. Three of us shared superbly delicious food - a stuffed avocado and the Huli Huli Luau Platter, which is a half rack...of B.B.Q. baby back ribs, four nachos with grilled chicken, two B.B.Q. chicken tacos, four chicken flautas, chopped salad, papas asadas & chile con queso - enough to serve four, although we left nothing behind. My single complaint: The salad is too small for three people. Food presentation was beautiful, worthy of the restaurant's knock-out atmosphere. The entire staff was helpful and friendly. Distancing, masking, and clean-ups followed Covid-19 guidelines comfortably and unobtrusively for the customers. We won't wait so long again!More

Insanely rude staff

Used to enjoy the place as food is decent and atmosphere is great. However, the service lately has been terrible along with the horrendous and disrespectful treatment I have experienced by Sylia. Such attitude is inexcusable in the service industry and can ruin a reputation.

Fast service! Fun atmosphere!

The atmosphere is so cute and fun. We had fast friendly service. The salsa was the best!! You can tell it's homemade! The food was so-so. We probably won't go back unless we just go for salsa and chips.😜

Casual waterfront restaurant serving Tex-Mex with Polynesian twist. Great outdoor seating. Love the food we ordered.

Ready to go back!

Went here while visiting my cousins. This place was great....great service, wonderful food, no wait on our Saturday night visit (January). Indoor and outdoor seating (outdoor heated in winter). Great variety of food, literally something for everyone in your group. Beautiful lake views too! Will...definitely go back!More

Great meet-up with friends

We met up with friends here tonight and had a wonderful time. The food was good. The beer selection was good. And the service was terrific. Our server, named Leisha, took great care of us and made sure we had every thing we needed, that...our drinks were refilled and that we were enjoying our night out. Is there a dog friendly area?

Helo, The Hula Hut is not dog friendly, however the restaurant next door The Tap House, does allow dogs in the outside dinning area. Food is okay, but does not have the same feel of Hula Hut.
