So as large as this place is right on the sea wall it is often crowded. Reservations recommended. The decor is very retro. I recommend the large crab cake with lumped crab meat as a main dish. This is the best I’ve ever eaten. The...More

The ambiance was just what we expected for a white linen restaurant. A little “rat pack” music and a very cordial attentive Ukraine waitress. The food wasn’t beyond exceptional so that’s why it got an average. The price for stuffed flounder was definitely overpriced at...More

Island Breeze Transportation (Steve) recommended this place. Food & service were fantastic. Get there early to get a seat or make a reservation. The Bar is first come first serve for dining. We definitely recommend this place for great food and drinks!

Pretty view...pretty good seafood. Most of the food was fried. I had the scampi as an appetizer...good. The blue crab claws were also an appetizer and served chilled ..but I was disappointed in the variety There are a lot of people going through there.

Our server Elena was awesome! Highly recommend this place for authentic Texas seafood. The view is amazing as well. We were seated next to the window with a great view of the water.

Anna our waitress was amazing! Great shrimp! I recommend the 8-ounce center-cut filet with the garlic butter. Also the cremé brûlée is really good!

Yes they have a children's coloring menu with things like chicken, grilled cheese, and Fettuccine Alfredo and other child appropriate food. Their seafood is amazing.

The toast of the Texas coast. How can frozen fish be called fresh? The answer for anyone with snap is simple: it can’t. That’s why Gaido’s is the classic choice for fresh Gulf seafood. Patrons know Gaido’s is real, when others are clearly not. From red snapper and blue crab to white tablecloths crumbed with panache, there’s no denying Gaido’s is one-of-a-kind in a world of imitation. Now, after four generations of filleting, frying, grilling and baking, Gaido’s has grown into the picture perfect place of traditions– birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, reunions. As the largest fresh fish house on the coast, Gaido’s can serve up to 2,500 happy diners a day. -– for over 100 years – is truly the coastal classic.
