Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I should have known better...I usually read reviews before trying a new restaurant, but alas I didn't this time! I was staying at a Studio 6 hotel and the menu for Skillman Wok was left on the nightstand with other area restaurants to order takeout or delivery. I was so tired the night before from having to "hunt" for somewhere I wanted to eat that I decided Chinese sounded good and this place must not be far from my hotel if they were willing to deliver...so why not. The next night on my way to the hotel after working a 12 hour shift I ordered General Tsu's chicken, egg drop soup and fried wontons. I thought I could take the leftovers to work for lunch the next day. That would have been a good idea if the food was worth eating! The General Tsu's chicken was very bland and tasted like it had sat under a warmer all day, the egg drop soup tasted disgusting! How do you make soup taste like dishwater! How easy it is to make egg drop soup and to have it taste so awful! Ugh. The fried wontons were over cooked and hard as a brick. They were really really brown and I don't even think they had any meat in them. To make matters worse. They filled a pint sized container with sweet and sour sauce and proceeded to put it on top of my food order but did not insure the lid was secure and I had sweet and sour sauce all over the bag, my leather car seat and my wallet that was in the car seat! So tasteless, bland food and a mess to deal with! Not a happy camper here! I paid $13 for the food also. Would have been okay if the food tasted halfway decent...but even China Panda in the mall is ten times better! Stay away from this place!
