We visited this lovely place based on TripAdviser reviews. We were not disappointed. We arrived around 4:45pm on Friday evening of Memorial Day weekend. We were promptly welcomed and seated. We ordered the chicken fajitas for two, which were delicious. The chicken was moist and easy to slice. The veggies-two types of onions, peppers, and mushrooms—were flavorful and perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, they don’t currently have a liquor license, but that did not detract from the overall experience. The owner came by our table to be sure we had everything we needed. He is working hard to keep his customers happy and is open to feedback from his patrons.

I am surprised at not seeing many reviews on this excellent restaurant! Maybe it's a best kept secret, but I'm letting the cat out of the bag. We were greeted, promptly sat and our orders taken. I am not a huge Tex-Mex fan, but absolutely love Southwestern dishes ala Santa Fe. Our drinks arrived quickly (a delicious margarita, and a beer that was served with a glass with lime and a salted rim) and a cup of soothing chicken noodle soup, that was on the house! We ordered the chicken mole enchiladas and the chicken poblano enchiladas and both were excellent. It truly was authentic mole, and some of the best we've ever tasted. Each bite of the main dish, rice, and beans was a delight! We were sorry to not have room for dessert and were only there for a short while after the live guitar music started. Decor was attractive and I just can't find fault with one thing during our time there. We were very impressed. Thank you, and Bravo!

Stopped in for lunch around noon on a week day - initially we were the only ones seated but it filled up by the time we finished. The server recommended the poblano enchiladas and they were delicious! The restaurant is very cool visually on the inside as well, and service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Terrible disappointment, in Texas and Mexican food is awful. The mole was the worst!!! Burnt, sweet flavor. The chimichanga is served bare, no sauce. Asked for some cheese and was served a tiny, tiny dish of queso for $3.50. Tortilla was a soggy mushy mess. $16.00 of inedible food. Puffy tacos were not crispy. The other dishes lacked flavor. Drinks and tortilla chips only good thing!

This great Mexican restaurant has only been open for 7 weeks and they are still working on their liquor license. The food is some of the best Mexican cuisine that I have had in the area and the atmosphere was great. There is a large dining area that allows for tables to be spaced out as needed for Covid. When you are done with the main meal, be sure to try the mango flan pie.

When we arrived we were immediately welcomed and seated . I asked about a margarita and they are waiting for liquor license so it was complimentary but delicious.. we ordered the papas taquitos on the appetizer menu. It was topped with shredded cheese, fresh tomatoes and green sauce on the side .. you can see they were fresh homemade and delicious.. We’ll definitely return when visiting Boerne for one of their main dishes .. they also have music in the evenings so that makes it extra special ..

Ate dinner at this new restaurant and loved the decor, atmosphere and service. We had enchiladas and a quesadilla which were very good. Our meal including tip was around $36.00 So great food and service but a little pricey.

We had dinner here on a Wednesday evening and had a wonderful time. Hostess seated us promptly., made sure we had water and menus and asked about drinks. They are still working on their liquor license but you can BYOB in the meantime. Ambiance is great with live Spanish guitar Monday and Wednesday and other live entertainment every night. My husband always orders bullwhip brochettes- two skewers of steak, peppers and onions in a raspberry chipotle sauce - delicious. Our friends had a chicken combo plate plus the grilled trout, served with sautéed veggies. Both were excellent.. I had the carne guisada, chunks of beef in a red sauce that was melt in your mouth tender. We rounded it out with sopa pillas , served with ice cream. While we did not have it tonight I can also highly recommend the chili rellenos. Boerne is lucky to have such a standout Mexican eatery.

The atmosphere was great, live musician softly playing good music. Complimentary soup was great. The meal was top notch and service was spot on. My wife dropped her fork, by the time she picked it up one of the staff members was by her side to take the dirty fork and provide fresh utensils. Sometimes it is the small things that matter. Highly recommend

Spectacular, we shared the Blue corn enchilada, fajita taco plate and the Taco de pastor. When I return on Thursday we are going to order the Tacos de Carne Asada and the combo enchilada taco plate. This place does not cut corners, only serves the freshest finest ingredients. Beef fajita was full of flavor and tender. Pleasant surprise. Queso is perfection

Trying to keep it local and support unique businesses. This restaurant was very quaint and the building is very cool. Decor, ambiance, music, all great! Literally some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a good while. My wife is usually very cautious with food choices but really loved the enchiladas with red sauce! I had blue corn tortillas with chicken and hatch green chile sauce! I loved it! Very reasonable costs, musician was talented, service was prompt and attentive! We’ll go back for sure!

Looking on Trip Advisor for a place to eat as we always do in a new location, Trip Advisor showed they were closed but my husband saw the open sign and we went back. Glad we did! It was a local gem! Restauraunt clean, nice atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. Will stop here again next trip to Boerne!

The atmosphere and live music were nice. That's the good side. The 10oz Red Snapper dish was closer to 5oz than 10 and was as tough as leather. Before we ordered, we ask the waiter what the mixed vegies were that came with the dish. What he described was nothing like what we got. My wife ate the Snapper anyway. I had it replaced with green chicken enchiladas, which were good although the tomatillo sauce was a bit sweet.

Came back for more! I had to bring my husband this time. I had chicken blue corn enchiladas & He had Chile en Nogada. The food is really good & the owners are super nice & attentive. Thursday, Friday & Saturday night they have a guitar player. Check it out when you go to Boerne! Enchiladas Tri-color (sampler) are also delicious, same the ceviche. Definitely recommend this place! Two thumbs up!

Excellent Mexican Food! This place was great. As a Latina I am very critical of Mexican food, so to say this was excellent is a big deal. I had the tacos de pescado on corn tortillas. The tortillas were excellent, the fish was perfectly seasoned, and the rice was a great addition. The sauce on the side was so great I still can’t figure out how it was made and what is in it, I just know it was delightful. My husband had the chicken with some kind of cranberry topping and mashed potatoes. He said he would come back every week and eat it. My daughter who is a picky eater LOVED the tres leches cake. If you have a guest with celiac disease (like me), the chips are gluten free and so is the fish taco plate. Definitely recommend this place! The huge wall is beautiful to look at too. And the owner walks to every table to thank you for your business.
