All reviews fish and chips burger welsh rarebit lamb pudding the pub great atmosphere double dragon beer garden served quickly evening meal nice food booked a table lovely meal st david s visiting st sunday lunch
Had lunch there on the 15th. Friendly staff. Quick service. We both had light lunch and a couple of Peronis. You can only eat inside not in the rear beer garden. Did not bother us. Found table straight away. Centrally located.
We stopped here for lunch with our little dog. Sat outside and ordered the chicken rap and chargrilled salad. All good and would recommend. It was very busy when we visited and the service was quick and efficient.
Great venue in a lovely little city. Inside the pub looked to have loads of character. We sat in the garden and really enjoyed our food. Possibly the best chicken burger I’ve had and I’ve had a few!!! The wife really enjoyed her lasagne as...well. Highly recommendMore
Had lunch here - food looked and tasted lovely.
Sandwiches and lite bites arent served until 12pm which is fine, however, it would be good to be able to order them at 11.50 and not have to return to the table and reorder 10mins later....The toilets are small and pretty much unusable if you have mobility issues.More
Firstly, I didn't realise how popular St Davids is and how few pubs and restaurants there are, meaning its very busy! I knew from reviews The Bishops was popular but i wasn't prepared just how busy it was. (NB it was a Monday and the...farmers arms next door closes on a Monday which didn't help!) .
Great looking; great atmosphere; great choice at bar and quality of pint; and good pub grub. There was a queue on entry and a long queue at bar for ordering so bare this in mind if crowdedness might be an issue, considering the current climateMore
A busy pub in the centre of st David’s. Lovely terraced area outside with regular cleaning of tables. Pets allowed outside. Food seemed popular but we just had a drink. Nice place to chill out.
Staff were friendly especially when middle aged well dressed Walker...woman next to us fed her dog at the table with chicken pieces then used the vinegar to clean her hands leave meat grease all over the vinegar pot. Reported to staff and they immediately cleaned the pot appropriately. I guess you just can’t account for the manners of some!More
