The best pub food in town! Home cooked and really tasty. Sexy wedges are delicious. Sunday roast carvery is really good too and very popular! Highly recommend!

Thanks for your review Emma. Just to let you know that unfortunately we no longer do our Carvery on a Sunday. We are open for food from 12 noon until 4 p.m. serving food from our Main Menu and Specials Board

Have been going here for many years. The food is very good. Never had a bad meal. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Lovely little setting beside a tidal river. Staff are always welcoming.

I had a lasagne and it was very greasy. I don’t know if anything can be done to change this but didn’t look appetising but tasted ok. Was very busy, good atmosphere and reasonably priced.

We enjoyed the Bristol Trader, polite and helpful staff, lively atmosphere and very large portions. There was large choice on the menu, we chose lasasne and the chicken curry, both very nice.

Lovely setting, plenty of space, good selection of ales and spirits. Food was freshly made and menu covered all pub food options. Big outside front area overlooking the river. Parking was ok for us but could imagine it being a problem at busy periods.

We stayed in Haveford west and did not realise that there are not a lot of places open, Sunday night or Monday. We settled on eating at the Bristol Trader. I had a burger and my husband the pulled pork. Both meals were pretty reasonable....More
