Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The staff is great. Food was good. Its stilly but I was especially happy with the side vegetables - they were actually sautéed and seasoned instead of just being boiled. My biggest gripe is all the extra added on taxes. Made up about 10% of the bill.

On the first night we went for a couple of drinks in the "tavern" side. Our server was very green, but tried hard. I feel that the place was understaffed for all of the cruise ship guests that arrived here that night. The next day we had breakfast on the restaurant side and experienced great service from Forrest. The man is a true pro and has obviously been catering to customers for many years. He does it well. The food was good also.

I stayed at the Sheraton, where this restaurant is located, while I was passing through Memphis. I visited this restaurant due to convenience for dinner, rather than venturing out of the hotel. Service was fast and friendly. I wouldn't have known it was a hotel restaurant had it not been located inside of a hotel. The ambiance was very relaxed and the burgers are large, filling, and decently priced.

Located in the Sheraton Downtown Memphis Hotel. It was hard to find an open place for dinner. Decided to give it a try. Glad we did. Had a huge salad and a happy hour $5.00 margarita. Both very good. Sisters said the burgers and fries were very good. The service was excellent. Left full and satisfied.

My mom and I are staying at the Sheraton and after a long drive, we just wanted to stay at the hotel. Joan was awesome! I had the short rib chef’s special and my mom had the minestrone soup and Greek salad. It was all super yummy. They surprised me with a lava cake because it was my birthday! We loved the food and service. There are some weird taxes but overall, I definitely recommend.

Breakfast buffet was excellent with the local staple “chicken and waffles!” The best part was the customer service and hospitality of the hosts and waitresses: Violeta, Mary and Stephanie. These ladies “really made the meal.” Thank you, Michael and Debbie

My wife and I had arranged our itinerary a few weeks in advance, as we usually do while traveling, and we knew our game plan for sight-seeing in Memphis was extensive but tight. So we started early with breakfast at our hotel, the Sheraton Memphis Downtown Hotel. We had been told that breakfast (buffet or otherwise) at the Crossroads Tavern & Grille was top-notch and we weren't disappointed. It was a great way to start our long day. My wife had brioche French toast with sausage and hot coffee. I ordered my breakfast favorite, traditional Eggs Benedict, with poached eggs, Canadian bacon, English muffins and hollandaise sauce. With sausage and biscuits and jelly. And a large glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. When you plan to skip lunch so you can squeeze in one or two more attractions, it's good to fill up with a good breakfast. At the Crossroads, it was mission accomplished.

This place is awful. I placed an order for food. I was the last person to receive food. I was one of first to place my order. I inquired and they gave me half of my order. I went back and they had to do my order again. I ordered a drink that cost $15. The service at this place is AWFUL. I spent $40 on food.

The food is about the same quality all the time. Most of the dishes doesn't have the best raw ingredients for example the pecan crusted Salmon, but they taste good. I tried the salmon, the veggie pasta for dinner, red pepper hummus and chicken tenders for apps, brioche French toast for breakfast and Turkey club and pastrami Reuben for lunch. I'd order the veggie pasta with shrimp again. Notably every dish had some imperfections like the shrimp was probbaly salted twice and the pasta wasn't salted after boiling. But for dinner, the waiter, Mr. Sam (if a recall), a pleasant black gentleman with awesome service made it a 5 star experience. The TripAdvisor reviews had made me a little weary, but honestly this place is acceptable for breakfast, subpar for lunch and good for dinner, especially if you're traveling on business and need to return to your room quickly.

I like to eat here at least once whenever I stay at the Sheraton. The menu is limited and mostly burgers, but they are good and the French fries were tasty. It isn't on the menu, but the staff always accommodate us and serve our French fries with brown gravy--the best in town. The menu used to boast of "good gravy" and it is! I have also had the breakfast buffet and it was nice. Everything warm, refilled and good selection. The staff we have had have always been great!

Our room was not ready, so we decided to eat lunch at the hotel. The service was actually very good, the young lady behind the bar was very friendly and attentive. We ordered on brisket sandwich, and one cheeseburger. Both came with fries The brisket had no taste... In the land of BBQ, that is sinful! My burger was very dry, even though I asked for medium rare;it was very dry and salty. The fries were limp. We had no drinks. The food was bill was around $28. That is high!

Sadly one of the worst experiences we have had. Waitress had a bit fo an attitude as did the lady who seemed to be in charge. My meal was luke warm but the worst was when a waiter came to clean the table next to us and came out with a large dirty bowl which he put on that table and started putting the dirty dishes into it, then left it there to collect dirty items from other tables. Not a nice evening
