Although a little pricey for a single 12-inch pizza, it was delivered hot and on time. The delivery location was located 0.2 miles from the restaurant and took almost exactly an hour during peak dinner time (730pm order time). For the 12-inch white pizza including delivery fee and a $2.40 tip, it was $26.81. Very yummy pizza, lots of cheesy goodness. Came with 2 packets of Parmesan and 2 packets of red pepper. Would have taken a photo but it didn’t last long enough!

We ordered take-out, and it took the full 75 minutes to get our order (which is what we were told when we ordered) - I guess they are that busy. The pizza was good. We ordered the Bruschetta Trio thinking that it would be vegan, but it was not - they put cheese on everything. Not sure if they will custom hold the cheese or not. Unfortunately we had to order online because they didn't pick up their phone.

My wife and I ordered pizza from Aldo's recently for dinner while spending couple days in Memphis. We stayed downtown and got it to go. We made our own pizza so that made it more expensive than choosing one from the menu. There are two sizes - 12 and 18 inch. We did the 18 inch and it was good size for us. We had the pepperoni and it was very good but thicker than other pizzas we have had. We also had sausage, mushrooms and green peppers. Sauce and crust were outstanding. Good choice and highly recommend.

We were staying downtown and wanted a family friendly dinner. The pizza was good- nothing spectacular, though. Our son got a grilled eggplant sandwich and it wasn't that great, none of us cared for it. The service was spotty, we were served (and charged for) the wrong dessert, which they did fix. Overall, we felt like it could have been better, but certainly wasn't bad.

Went here to continue our years-long "Pizza Friday" routine. Recommendation was to get their Vodka Sauce pie, which was cheesy and generally pretty good. The other pie was a habanero cream base that was actually rather mild on the spiciness scale. Felt bad for the waitstaff as there were only two servers (one for indoor and one outdoor) on what I would have thought would be a peak time (Friday evening). Likely stretched due to COVID unfortunately. Another side effect of that was that there weren't people around to casually monitor social distancing adherents. There was a table nearby to us which was a group of 7 what seemed like locals, who then had various friends join them at various points throughout their time there and stand around the table which made them very close to us in a way that made us slightly uneasy.

I have no complaints about the service and pizza what so ever actually the pizza was one of the best I have had. Just make sure you check your bill as we had been charge 16% service charge and then a 16% gratuity charge and then a further 16% service charge on the grand total. There was only 4 of us at the table. We shared 2 pizza and 2 starters This would have resulted in the service charges being over $40.00 for a $68.00 meal had I not checked the receipt. To be fair once I pointed it out it was rectified but just worth checking. Maybe it’s an additional tourist tax.

Found Aldo on a list of good restaurants in Memphis. After a long drive into town, we called the downtown location for a pick up order on a sunday night. We were it would be over an hour. But were told to call a location on the way into town. We did and picked up 2 huge pies. Being connoisseur of NY Style pizza, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this pie. Great this crust. You have to fold or else. The basic cheese was a classic and the Lombardi was great. The meatballs were tasty and ricotta is a wonderful creamy match. Think this Aldo n way into to town is now a tradition.

Went to Aldo's on 3/29 at the insistence of our son. It was nice enough weather for us to eat outside, however; we were the only ones eating outdoors, everyone else was either inside the covered patio or inside the building. We shared a 12" pizza, an order of garlic knots and a large house salad. We found it to be enough food for 2 adults and a 9 year old. Our server was very nice and pleasant. I think it's a nice place to eat and is a great place to relax and people watch.

We were hungry vegetarians from out of town looking for a place to eat in carnivorous Memphis, so we chose Aldo's because we knew we could find something to eat in a pizza place. The place was comfortable, the service was fine, and the food was good. However, the bill was somewhat surprising when it arrived. I expected the 20% automatic service charge, only because I happened to see a sign on the front counter stating this charge. There was another 20% gratuity charge on the bill also, but one of the staff members explained that it was a mistake and it was not added into my charge. I ordered what I thought was a $13 calzone, but be aware that you will be charged for each additional topping. When the menu stated, "Calzone $13, 3 toppings max, choose from above" (as you can see in the photo I took of the menu), I assumed that meant the toppings were included in the stated price. Oh no, they charged $7 more, so a 12 inch pizza dough made into a calzone became $20. The strawberry cheesecake was $7 (and by the way it was homemade and delicious), and with the automatic gratuity and tax, one entree and one dessert came to $35.03. Ouch. So just know before you go that although the food was good, it is not an inexpensive place to dine, and the bill might not be quite what you will expect it to be when you receive it.

We ordered delivery at the recommendation of our hotel front desk clerk. She was right the pizza was great wonderful flavor the issues was the garlic knots. How could anybody who even looked at them in the restaurants kitchen thought they were ok to send out. We got two orders and it was a colossal waste of money they were burnt to the point of looking like charcoal briquettes. My recommendation get the pizza skip the knots!

VERY good NY Style pie! We had the T-Rex. All of the ingredients were 1st rate, (pepperoni, sausage , meatballs) , were top quality. Just the right amount of cheese. Crust was good and foldable with just the right amount of oil dripping out. We also had the stuffed poblano peppers. Nice!

Wow! The bruschetta appetizer was delicious. The presentation of the three different toppings was lovely with an olive tapenade, basil pesto, and thick tomato puree plated on spoons with crunchy exteriored, soft interiored bread served in a small cup. I could have done without the tomato, as it was hard and cold, but the olive tapenade was perfection. I also had a peach bellini that was cool and fresh, especially on a hot summer day. For the entree, I ordered the Lombardy-beautifully presented with fresh, melty mozzarella and perfectly seasoned meatballs. The crust is divine with just the right amount crunch and softness. They have definitely earned my business, and even though I'm just visiting Memphis for a short time, I am putting this place on my list of must return spots. You won't be disappointed!

In town for a seminar and was tired of the banquet food so I sought out Aldo’s Pizza Pies. Just a few blocks from The Peabody and on the trolley track, Aldo’s has a young, hip vibe. Amazing blues are blaring from River City Records across the trolley tracks as the I sit outside waiting for a cheese pizza and a local brew. Pizza is here. Lite, crisp, fluffy crust, excellent sauce, just the right amount of cheese, and some freshly grated on top by my server. Solid 8 outta 10!

Made the mistake of ordering delivery. Chow down by uber delivered my pizza and hour later cold. Shorted me 2 7$ orders of breadknotts claiming the restaurant didn't have them. Now 4 days after i only have a refund for 1 of the 2. I have wastes my time daily attempting to get a refund. Somebody could be doing a nich better job instead of shorting a persons order and charging 20+ in taxes and fees, then boldly asking for a tip. Pizza might have been good had it not riden around in the back of somebody's dodge caravan touring around the freaking city for over an hour.

The most delicious pizza I have ever eaten. A short description here wouldn’t do justice to the pizza. It was even delicious cold. The staff were soo nice in the restaurant, it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. And the server bought balls of dough for my children to play with while we waited for the food - I’ve never seen a restaurant do that before, it was great! I thought it was great value - 2 large pizzas was plenty for me, my husband, and our 3 children.
