Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place has a great choice of beers and knowledgeable staff on hand to advise based on your favorite tipple. We visited a couple of times whilst in town and it was busier later in the week as you would expect. We tried the Pretzels...which were fresh and tasty but did feel the place had a funny vibe so didnt stay for long.More

Went here to watch the Eagles game (GO BIRDS!!) because their post said they had all games on big screen televisions and it was close to our hotel. They did not disappoint. The beer selection was great, the food was good and the game was...on. To top it off, the Birds won.More

We saw that Beale Street (the entire street) had a cover charge on weekends. So we wound up walking nearby and found this place. As the title implies, a lot of draft beer, with a beer hall look, combines for an enjoyable late night drink.

Just a street before you get to Beale Street is the ultimate craft beer selection in Memphis. They have over 50 beers either in bottles or on tap. For your light beer drinkers, ipa’s, sour’s, and even those heavy dark beer drinkers it’s all there....The menu is constantly rotating so check out their list online. For the food it’s what you expect for a place with that many choices burgers, sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. If you are a blue cheese lover try the Bleu Burger my favorites with ample amounts of blue cheese to give it a creamy tangy flavor. Trust me they don’t skip on the blue cheese either. While they don’t have a kids menu they have plenty options on the appetizer side to make a meal out of and yes their portions are that big. Just a great place to hangout, enjoy some food and beer before heading to Beale Street. Kid friendly no kids menu $$More

Had a very enjoyable time at the Flying Saucer for lunch today but was VERY disappointed with the quality of the German Plate I ordered. The Brats were BURNED & dry but the fries were great. The order here is one of their burgers. I...was the only one at the table who did not order the burger...BIG mistake. The ladies at the next table ordered salads & they looked good.More

Great selection of beer and knowledgeable staff. They know their stuff, tell them what you like and they will identify a beer that fits. Even get a taster sample before you commit to a full glass. We called in several times, much better beer selection...than anything on nearby Beale Street.More
