Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After spending about $15-$20 for meals at Memphis, it was so nice to get good food for a good price! We stayed at the Crown Plaza and it was a 5 minute walk to get the pizza. SO worth it! The pizza was delicious, reasonably priced, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was so fun, whimsical, and safe feeling. If I ever go back to Memphis, I will go here again for sure!

We dropped by this small local eatery for a late lunch. The menu offers Italian staples. We had stombolli and spaghetti. Both were excellent and plentiful. Our server was friendly and attentive. We will return to try other dishes.

We get this and take home - love their extra cheese pizza and their meat pizza. We are always pleased with whatever pizza we order...need to try the other dishes....will be back.

Once in a while, there are places you for a bite and you end up stopping your meal just to write a review. I had a great food experience at Ferraros. I ordered the cheese sticks which are heavenly. The lasagna was creamy, meaty goodness. I was so full, there was no room for dessert. I urge you to stop by and indulge, the service and food will make you come back.

Went to this place with a coworker for lunch. They were busy, but there were tables available. We sat at an empty table and were ignored by the staff for 20 minutes, so we left. The staff seemed to have no idea how to prioritize what needed to be done. While people were waiting to be served, she decided it was the perfect time to start rearranging the bar chairs. The food looked pretty good, but never got to try it. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

Not a good place. Slow service, hole in the wall restaurant. Not very good New York style pizza. Spoke to a few other people who work at St. Jude's children's hospital and they said that the place is going down hill. Waited 30 minutes for a large pizza and had to go to the bar 3 times to refill our cokes. Got the pizza and it was for table next to us. Our pizza was brought to them. Server bar tender never said anything about the mix-up. Find another place for lunch cause this is not the place. I will never go there again that much is true. I give this dump - stars if I could

Stopped in for a quick family dinner. The prices were very reasonable (large pizza, cheese breadsticks, 8 wings, and 4 soft drinks for 35$). Great food, great service. Scott was very friendly!

We were looking for somewhere close to our hotel to have dinner, and this was literally 5 minutes walk from the Crowne Plaza. For a family of 4, we had the Ferraro's family feast, only $34.95, and it was amazing! Delicious chicken wings, cheese sticks and pizza, sodas included. The beer menu was good, and prices were great, $1 off on a Thursday evening made prices even better! The service was FANTASTIC, the staff could not have been better, the food was great, as were the prices. We would definitely recommend trying this place out!

Had lunch here on Friday, and even though it was difficult to find a parking place, there were only four people in the restaurant. Quaint interior, dimly lit. Were greeted and had drinks orders taken in short order. Studied the menu, and I decided on House Salad with grilled chicken. Alas, they were out of chicken. Hubby and I had lasagne and side salad. Salad was good, but served a tiny bowl, so every time I put my fork in to get a bite, pieces of my salad fell out of the bowl. The lasagne was not any better than Marie Callendar’s that you get in the frozen food section at the grocery store. It’s a pizzeria, order the pizza!

We were on our way home from Michigan to Texas and stopped to spend the night in Memphis. This place was close to our hotel and we walked in right before they were closing. Everyone working was super nice and friendly even though we were there at closing time. The pizza and wings were delicious!!! Not a chain...just a local place and LOVED it! Highly recommend!!

Stopped in for the Monday special, which is a 12 inch pizza but upon arrival, they said didn’t prep dough the night before. Ok, so you think they do something on the 8 or 16 inch, but not a chance. They somehow think good customer service is charging $3 more for the 8 inch because they failed to prep 12 inch dough the night before. Poor decision to not take care of your customers.

The server was so annoying he stood over us and talked entirely to much I was thinking I wish this guy would get away so we can eat the cook kept having to get on to him ( the place isn’t that big we could hear) about messed up orders and not picking up orders I thought if he wasn’t blabbing he could get his work done the food was good although a bit pricey but on our next adventure we’ll pass on this place

Always wanting to try a few new places when we travel, we went to Ferraro’s our 1st night during our latest Memphis trip. This is a not a genderfied pizza restaurant nor preppy microbrewery. This is a real deal neighborhood pizza. Do not let the outward appearance or the word “pub” in the name deters you. You can bring your children into Ferraro’s. WOW. One of the best pizzas we have had. As soon as the pizzas were brought to the table we knew we were in for a treat. My wife and my mother both ordered small customized pizzas: fresh veggies, ample meat and gooey cheese. I ordered a medium peperoni - see picture - perfectly baked crust and wonderful sauce. Our waiter told us the pizza sauce is fresh and made in house. Speaking of the waiter, he was so friendly and personable. The entire staff and atmosphere made us feel at home. Ferraro’s is located near Bass Pro Shop and a great place to stop for those who get hungry after walking the sports megastore. It is also worth the drive to experience one of the best pizzas in the Memphis and the surround area. NOTE: Be advised they only serve beer, iced tea and soft drinks. Call ahead because some nights you can bring your own wine without a corking fee.
