Terrible food. Burger was a horrible Iceland frozen texture and the chicken burger was bland. Disappointing! I put a pic of what I was served compared to what a burger should be like from a butchers! The food was very poor considering it’s a butchers...chain that runs this place. Only saving grace is that the staff are nice.More

Visited midweek with a friend for dinner. The service was friendly but we were underwhelmed with our visit. I ordered the haggis pakora, 3 bits and no dip for £6, poor value for money. My friend ordered the bread platter. I had the open steak...sandwich. Mostly onions and little steak, didn’t come with anything else. My friend had the Caesar salad. Everything was very average. We were not offered a dessert menu so we just asked for the bill. Don’t think I would rush back here for dinner. Maybe pop in for soup and a sandwich.More

Total rip off, you can book a table at £10 per head and would expect to get that money off your bill at the end but you dont. My wife booked 5 seats for a girly day out last Saturday and paid 5 x £10...for the table, they enjoyed their 2hrs drinking cocktails etc, when the bill of £127 came they expected the £50 to be deducted but wasn't, you are basically paying £10 to get in the door. Shocking. Never again. #GosomewhereelseMore

This was our 1st visit to 1912 and was sorely disappointed. I have heard so many good reviews about this establishment and decided to give it a try, on our arrival our table wasn't ready which is understandable and definitely not a problem. We ordered...our food and had to repeat our order several times to our server as we felt it wasnt taken properly and wouldnt arrive as too which we had ordered, which it didnt, we didnt make an issue about this as it was only a minor mistake and not worth making an issue about. We order a round of cocktails for 4 ppl and only 1 drink was served, we waited around 15mins before asking about the rest of the order only to find that we had to then reorder the drinks again, when the drinks were eventually served to the table the server somehow managed to spill the drinks over the table and fortunately the customer who would have been seated at the spot where the drinks were spilled was at the toilet when this happened or they would have been drenched in alcohol. We ordered 2 cocktails which we were told were unavailable as they did not have crushed ice so 2 different cocktails were ordered, however when the final bill arrived we had been charged for the cocktails we did not receive. This was a very disappointing 1st visit to this establishment, and while trying to support the independent business I personally feel I would hesitate to a return visit.More

I love this place whether it be for food or popping in for a glass of wine. I gave my 9 year old the option of going anywhere to eat when places opened and she chose here. This was due to the Titanic Nacho’s which...are meant to be shared though my daughter loves them so much. Have eaten pretty much everything on the menu which is really varied from snacks and light meals to steak with all the trimmings. Its table service which is nice and staff are always attentive though I always book prior to going which can be easily done online as that way you won’t be disappointed.More

Unbelievable place for food, class price! Rona and Colum where especially amazing to me and my fam. Rona is one of the friendliest members of staff you'll meet in not only 1912 but in general always trying to make your meal that lil bit better!...Ontop of that, was the first day ive been when I've not been driving and the cocktails Colum made where picture perfect and tasted just as good :)More

Came up from England to visit my son on his Birthday in Livingstone. This was the first time we’ve been in a restaurant in over a year! Well worth the wait! Great welcome, service was excellent with excellent banter. Especially Claire who was a credit...to the restaurant! Superb. Had a strange reaction when I asked for steak knives with our steak but it didn’t put us off as we were more than happy anyway. Thanks again to everyone!!More

Great menu, friendly staff, great, quick tasty food. The all day breakfast is the business and the curly fries hit the spot.
