My partner and I ordered Beetroot and Goats Cheese Tachos at nearly £15 for four small portions. There was hardly any goats cheese in the filling. To be honest, we left the pub still hungry and feeling we had been ripped off. The only saving...grace was that the service was fast. However, I could not recommend eating at the West Bay Hotel.More

We called at this pub as we know the food is good ,I chose fish with bacon & sauce, the fish was excellent and mouthwatering, but let down by the salty sauce ,and the dish said crispy bacon, which was in the sauce ,a strip of...crispy bacon on top of the fish would of been great ,but it didn't stop us enjoying it, the staff were very friendly and we were well looked afterMore

We had lunch today - one sea bream and one burger - circa £16 for each of these mains. Some of the sauces were a little too hot for us but no problem in removing them. All food was absolutely delicious and looked really interesting....Staff friendly and unflappable despite place being really busy. Lively background music but not intrusive just gave a good vibe. Thoroughly recommend.More

Had a couple of beers and nice Mexican food. The 3 different dipping sauce for grilled chicken wing were amusing, the green one was dangerously hot !!! Had a burger for main, beef patty was challengingly thick, suited for hungry young boys. The highlight for...me was a friendly young girl staff, very welcoming and amicable, made our visit very pleasant, thank you.More

We ate here a couple of times and the food was great. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Covid restrictions were followed by the staff and we felt safe. They have a nice garden at the back of the pub, it's much nicer than...the smaller side/front garden.More

The food here is lovely. I had gorgeous creamy muscles followed by the sirloin steak cooked to perfection. The staff are so friendly and very accommodating. We had a mobility scooter for my elderly dad and they even swapped the tables around for us. The...restaurant was fully booked, so best make a reservation. Thoroughly recommend 😀More

half a dozen old gits on motorcycles descended on West Bay one week and tried every drinking hole in the town. This one we found and were pleasantly surprised. The beer was good, the staff attentive! Had a great laugh and a good time. Well...worth a visit.More

Yes i have eaten there on many occasions with my Dad and it is our favourite place to have our lunch on our days out. Sorry you do not agree with how we have found our visits there but I speak how I find!
