Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Holy Trinity Church's cafe is open on Thursdays and Fridays, serving hot drinks, cakes, snacks and light lunches. I stopped in for lunch and felt immediately welcome by the staff. They are what stands out the most about this cosy little cafe, as they seem...to go out of their way to make visitors feel welcome and taken care of with their friendliness and charm. The menu is small but very reasonably priced, and the cakes they have on display look very tempting! During my visit, I had a panini which cost a measly £2.90 and tasted great! The fact that the proceeds to go charity is just further incentive to stop in for a snack or a drink.More

Friendly staff, pleasant surroundings. Ideal for a meeting, a quiet read or for a good coffee! They do a very reasonable and tasty lunch and their carrot cake is as good as it gets. Actually have been in many times...

It was a warm but wet autumn day and we dived into Trinty Centre in a sudden shower. There was a warm welcome with good fair trade coffee. Wifi and clearly and clearly very child friendly. A good port in a storm and pleasant resting...place.More

It was our first meal on Guernsey and a very welcoming one. The staff are all volunteers and the cafe is only open Thursdays and Fridays. The cost of our sandwiches, water and crisps was so small, we gave the staff extra because we knew...the money was going to help others.More

Excellent food, friendly welcoming staff and the best shortbread I have ever tasted (not always available though as cakes are rotated but are all nice). Well worth a visit. Two can eat for around £10 total.

After walking up the hill through the Old Quarter, treat yourself to coffee and cake at TrinityCafe. At hardly 'treat' prices, the atmosphere is open and bright with friendly staff and good service. The coffee was delicious and my cappuccino had very pretty milk patterns...in the foam. We also had a little chocolate biscuit complementary with our coffees which was yummy and a perfect accompaniment. There are also some delicious looking cakes which we will be returning to test! There is a menu for savoury items too; the cafe offers soup and paninis amongst other things. Definitely worth a visit even if just to see some happy faces behind the counter.More

I love this place. I try to visit once a week and it is so worth the walk up the hill,( the Old Quarter is well worth a visit by the way ). The atmosphere is great : welcoming and warm and the decor clean...and attractive. The staff are all volunteers who really want to contribute to their community and should be rightly proud of their success. The food is absolutely delicious and very cheap. The roasted garlic and pea soup last week was so good and the cakes.. I dream of that almond shortbread!More

I am a regular at this café, which is open on Thursday and Friday mornings. The café is adjoined to Holy Trinity Church but is not overtly Christian. The menu is small but the food on it is excellent and very reasonably priced. I find...a morning drinking two three cappuccino, and eating a slice of cake topped off by a lunch of a Panini and a cold drink seldom exceeds £7. The staff and management are very friendly and attentive offering a first rate service. All in all I believe this café offers best value for money in Guernsey.More
