Not my main moon!

This restaurant could use a little quality control. My order was mixed up and the customer service was lacking. As some of the other reviews stated, it tastes a little too greasy!

reasonable and quick food

typical take out Chinese food. Nothing exemplary, just a standard take out. One cook, one waitress. Storefront facade, plastic pak's of soy sauce, mustard and sweet sauce.

A Fizzle of a Visit

Did not know what to expect from the visit. It was a less than stellar performance by this restaurant staff. They were nice people, but so many things were wrong. First, the place was virtually a blast furnace. The kitchen is open to the dining area and the heat is horrific. Another problem is the very average to poor quality of the food. There were four diners in our party, and three of them found the dishes they ordered fair to poor in quality. My egg foo young was good. I was the only person who liked what they ordered. All of us could not wait to exit the place due to the uncomfortable conditions.

Everything tasted and looked like it was re-fried

We ordered online. Food was terrible and tasted like food has been re-fried because the color was so dark. It was also greasy. Won-tons were the worst I have every had and were thrown in the trash. Door Dash was great but the the food was not. House fried rice was gummy, dry and didn't taste fresh, plus tasting bland.

You can eat in, pick up and take or have your food delivered. Great variety to choose from and very tasty. Also very reasonably priced

We visit at least 1x a month! Great service and good food! Egg rolls R O C K! Delivery available. Highly recommended if you are looking for Chinese food and are staying locally for pleasure or business!

Not the best...not the worst

I eat here everyone once in a while for lunch b/c i work within walking distance. I get the lunch specials but my favorite is the Shrimp and snow peas... Teriyaki or chicken on a stick is very good.. Others or hit and miss. Not too expensive

Had food delivered from here twice to my motel. Typical small Chinese restaurant food. Decent food, good prices, quick delivery. Would eat here again or recommend to travelers passing through.

Good Food, Quick and Easy Ordering, Friendly Staff

I really enjoyed the food and service. The food was fresh and hot, and made just as we ordered it. The staff was very courteous and friendly. I have ordered from here multiple times and they are always consistent. I would gladly recommend this spot to anyone.

We got take out and it was average. My husband did love the ribs. I probably wouldn't make a special trip. I did like the convenience of ordering online.

Our office orders at least once a week. Delivery is pretty quick, prices are good and food is yummy. It isnt the best Chinese ever...but still it is worth the price especially since they deliver.

Watch out for MSG!

We've just moved to Goodlettsville and our friends and family rallied round to help us unpack and move in. We 'ordered out' from Main Moon, with two orders of their "Pick 3 Variety Meal for $11.95" special. We ordered from them solely because their menu features a "NO MSG" symbol. We confirmed this on the phone when we ordered. The food was delivered promptly and arrived hot. It was tasty, if predictable, and there was plenty for 6 people. However, the next day one of our party who is severely allergic to MSG became very ill with swollen limbs and face among other symptoms. He is convinced he had reacted to MSG. He called the restaurant, but was unable to get a straight answer about whether or not the food had contained MSG, particularly as the menu specifies "NO MSG" as a benefit. So... if MSG allergies are a problem, avoid Main Moon Chinese Restaurant. If you have no problem with MSG, go ahead and enjoy the food which the rest of our party found very acceptable and good value for the money.

Decent Chinese take-out

We've been looking for a good Chinese restaurant since moving north of Nashville. This little spot is pretty good. Located in the Publix grocery shopping center, just off of Long Hollow exit I65, it looks to be the standard Chinese take-out restaurant. However, there are some good differences - the food is light and not greasy. It tastes fresh! The staff is very friendly! The space is very typical - a few tables in a spare, utilitarian location. But, this is not the place you go for a sit-down meal, unless it is lunch. And their lunch specials are extremely affordable. Another thing - you certainly get a lot of food for your money. But, as I mentioned, it is very decent food. If you are looking for good Chinese take-out , check out Main Moon.
