Mutts is one of my favorite places to eat in Greer. The food on the buffet always is fresh and is always consistent from visit to visit. I would like to eat hear every week but would probably be 100 pounds over weight. My favorite...is the fried chicken and the ribs. Always nice to go on a Friday and enjoy a seafood meat. You will leave more than full everytime. You simply can’t go wrong eating at Mutts.More

STAFF, THIS PLACE REALLY SUCKS! The food is cheap. Fake potatoes made with water and powdered potato mix. Gravy made with a mix and water. Canned green beans and canned pork and beans. Artificicial sweet potato casserole disguised with gobs of sugar. Refusal to serve...bariatric patients and an enjoyment of embarrassing them. I got the buffett like my hubs, but we went back twice, heaped those plates as high with everything, especially meat and simply left it on the table for the nasty staff to pick up and left a dime tip for them so they would know we hadn't forgotten. Did you get our message you BUTTHEADS?More

Unfortunate and disappointing meal. Mutts used to be one of our favorite restaurants. We will never return after tonight's meal. Chicken was dry and the brunswick stew tasted sour (we were told it was prepared 1-2 days ago.) But that was not the worst. I...requested to purchase a child's meal as the portions are smaller and I don't eat much due to dietary restrictions. This had been accommodated in the past. I was told no, therefore I didn't purchase a meal. My husband and son did. We sat at the table and I had 1 hushpuppy and a bite of chicken from my son's and husband's plate. The staff that denied me the child's plate came to our table and told me to STOP eating from their plates. Mind you he removed his mask as he reprimanded me! He told me I was rude for eating off their plate and I was STEALING from the restaurant! I attempted to defend my position which he then said I had to stop or leave the restaurant. He then told me If I continued to eat off their plate then he would call the police!! Never, ever again will I eat there.More

I was recently out running work related errands and needed to stop by another store. I got lost and pulled into a parking lot to pull up maps and noticed I was at a BBQ restaurant. I was going to stop for lunch anyway so...I went on inside. This is BBQ and a buffet. Given recent events I wasn't sure if you could dine inside or not. And this us still buffet, just Covid 19 style. I really wasn't sure what to do. There was an order window and then a cashier. Im trying to figure out how and where I order. Im sure I looked pretty confused. Finally the cashier explains it. So you order then you go through the buffet which is now more like cafeteria style. There are employee stationed along the line and you let them know what you want and then grab your plate at the end. They have Bbq..bbq chicken, ribs, all kinds of sides. I get beans, pulled pork, corn on the cob, okra, and hushpuppies. I head to my seat and my server asks about sauce. For some unknown reason, here in SC they use a mustard based sauce. Which is 50 kinds of wrong. Im from NC where the sauce is correct. I prefer the vinegar based Eastern style sauce but the sweet tomato based will do. And because your close to the SC/NC border, most restaurant here carry both. You can not grab condiments, your server does that, but you ho grab your own drink. And the food here...oh..my word..it is delicious. The BBQ..perfect. sides..perfect. Okra..crispy. Everything was just..yumm. It does include dessert which was pie or ice cream and I go for ice cream. Bbq joints here are not fancy. They are basic and often lots of kitschy country themed decor. This one looks like a log cabin and lots of pigs and a train runs around through out the building. These places attract everyone from young people, old couples, to families and to blue collar and white. Just have to love q. And q fans do not go looking for ambiance..just good food. When you first pay, there was a wall there so I couldn't see into the dining room. You pay first so I didn't think there were servers. I know covid has hit sit down restaurants hard so even ordering to go I leave about $3. So I put a $3 tip and the woman hands me $3 cash! I had no idea why. Then I go into the dining room and I have a server. Thank goodness I have some extra ones for a tip. My meal was less than $15 and I got plenty. And could have gone back. But I was full. Service was great. Food was..wow. I'm very glad in this case I got lost!More

We were very pleased with our meal. The buffet actually allowed us to try more tha if we had just ordered a plate. Everything we tried was very good.

We had the worst customer service EVER!!! Before we ever placed our order. Upon entering the restaurant there were two ladies waiting, and no one at the register. So we asked if they had been helped. One lady replied they won’t take our to go...order. We have to wait until there is no one on the dine in side. Five groups have already placed orders while we’ve waited simply because they were dining in. So we asked the cashier to please take their order ahead of ours. The cashier responded that she wouldn’t. At that time a young guy came from the back and started SCREAMING at us that it took 4 hours to cook and that HE WOULD NOT take their order, only dine in. One lady said she was calling the owner to which he yelled again and said he didn’t care. And motioned there was the door to leave. And we walked out right behind her. Just made me a Smokey Dreams customer!More
