Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The sign out front reads BA so don’t go round and round trying to find it. The coffee and cinnamon rolls were delicious but the almond croissant was a bit overcooked. The young ladies were very pleasant and we would definitely go back.

We love Barista Alley! We have been coming here since they opened across the street and then made the move. We also love the Roastery location which is quite near our home. Coffee is terrific! And the staff is top-notch! My husband is extremely picky...about his coffee and we always end up here!More

Barista Alley is one of our family favorites. We live in Spartanburg but will make the drive over from time to time. Their breakfast crepe is so savory and filling with FRESH pico and a killer chipotle aioli sauce. Yum. All of the coffee options...are delightful. Don’t miss this place!More

I come to visit family once a year here in Greer and have frequently visited Greer city park, restaurants, etc. The one day my family and I make it down to Greer city park we decide to go to Barista Alley to finish off the...night. Arriving just ten minutes past 8:00PM there are signs on the door saying, "Sorry for the inconvenience! Closed at 8" BIG inconvenience. Awful way to run business and a poor look for Greer in general. Business hours are business hours and should be upheld.More

Don’t plan your trip around this store. Today they just decided to close at 8! Sorry for the inconvenience! This is not the first time this happened. Not a way to run a business!

I love the new location! I enjoyed sitting upstairs and admiring the crown molding and the windows. So much natural light and it's a pleasure looking out over the city. And yes, the coffee is good, too! Crepes are delicious! I had a nutella/banana crepe...and it had just enough nutella!More

We were on vacay from KC. My son and his girlfriend are coffee shop enthusiasts (they tried many coffee shops in the area from Greer to Asheville Barista Alley was the fav! I order the Açaí bowl it was delicious quit large ( you could...definitely share although I did not) I also order the crepe gluten free, again delicious, and on tap kombucha! My husband had a standard americano which he found had great flavor a smooth taste! The staff was friendly and patient, as I am a difficult person to deal with, substitutes, changing things up, they accommodated all requests. Cool vibe comfortable relaxing. Nice big windows, outdoor seating!More

In a word, Barista Alley is perfection. First off, the atmosphere is great. I love that the old downtown Greer building has been preserved and lends a cozy interior. Large windows let you look out onto the street and there is plenty of seating. The...barista explained their menu and introduced the homemade syrups. The menu is small and in my opinion somewhat pricey, but so worth it. I got a regular coffee with mocha and it was possibly the absolute best coffee I have ever had. The temperature was perfect for sipping, the service was fast, and did I mention it was delicious? On my next visit I am definitely bringing friends and I'd love to try the crepes. If I could leave more than 5 stars I would! Skip Starbucks and head to Barista Alley!More

I was ahead of schedule this morning and found this place on my way to work. This is really what a coffee shop should be. Plenty of tables for individuals and small groups. A beautiful copper bar and pleasant conversation. It had a great atmosphere...and I hope my schedule allows me to return.More

This is hands down one of the nicer coffee shops I’ve been to, and definitely the best in Greer. If you are in Greer, you owe it to yourself to stop by for a coffee, or made in house sodas or teas, and definitely enjoy...it with a fresh crepe! Not only are all the drinks and food freshly made, the baristas are both helpful, happy, and knowledgeable. You will be impressed!More
