Ordered delivery which never arrived, called an then went and picked up my order. Got home and no sauce for sweet n sour chicken. Called asked about it they said come back in. I did not go back asked for a refund. Ended up paying...$40 which included delivery fee and tip. Threw out half the food. Will never go back.More
The good: Food was excellent. I had Moo Goo Gai Pan, very tasty and a large enough serving. The inclusion of lotus root was appreciated. Décor was nice. The bad: 1. Had to ask for chopsticks (I feel that Asian food was made with the...intention of chopsticks and tastes better when they are used). 2. I sat at a booth and when the adjacent booth was filled the back of my seat bounce as though there were a bunch of kiddies in a Dennys. 3. There was piano music playing, think a guy and a girl in a bar booth in a film noir. This must have been computer generated as there was no pause at all and there was no tune that I recognized. 4. The food was good but the chef' knife skills displayed were not the best. As I ate down my plate the pieces of food became smaller and smaller, I had to finish with a fork. Summary: It is hard to find a Chinese restaurant in Greenville area, this wasn't, but the Chinese food on the menu was good. Would I come again? Definite yes. Read the first line. Other stuff can easily be fixed.More
Husband & I dropped in for an early dinner 7/2. Per state law no alcohol is served on Sunday, but they have a full bar. We were promptly seated, beverages offered, after reviewing the menu for a couple of minutes we ordered the Gen Tso's...Chicken and Dragon & Phoenix. They arrived promptly and were brilliantly plated, both were exceptional! Portions were very fair, a good value for the menu price. Wait staff was attentive without hovering. We'll definitely go back on a weekday so we can try a mai tai! We're new to the area and this is a gem!More
Second time there and each time the food has been wonderful. I will continue to use this place for take out.
Inconsistent food quality, from soup to Sesame Chicken..feeling lucky, may be worth a meal. Too pricey.
The best freshest food I've had at an Aisian restaurant! Very nice ambiance also. The only negative I have is the General TSO which states it comes with broccoli, came out cold and barely heated. I mentioned this to the waitress and asked her to...have it cooked and she microwaved it slightly and told me that it was a garnish that's why it wasn't cooked. Sorry, if you list it in the description of an entree, it isn't a garnish!More
We tried Lin’s for the first time tonight based on a recommendation from friends. It definitely wont be our last visit. It was a beautiful night to eat outdoors and watch the sunset. The restaurant serves Chinese, Thai and Hibachi. Three of us had Chinese...entrées and one had Thai. All were very tasty. The hot and sour soup was also very good. We had Dragon and Phoenix (a combo of shrimp with garlic sauce and General Tso Chicken). We also had Thai Sweet Basil with Shrimp. I requested it extra spicy. The waitress also brought extra hot oil so we could add more spice if we wanted to. Aniyda was our waitress. She was very friendly and informative… especially when we were trying to decide between a few different entrées. We haven’t had good Asian food since we moved from upstate NY. We learned the head chef at Lin’s worked in NYC (which probably explains why the food was so good). Excellent restaurant. Give it a try.More
The best food, quality and prices in the area. I'm always disappointed with competitors. They can't even come close to the value, quality, price or service of Lins Asian Care in Greer.
I rarely give a 5 star review but here Lin’s Asian Cafe deserves just that. Over the past month we’ve eaten here some 7 times and every single dine in experience has been stellar. The dumpling soap is amazing offers crust fresh veggies, lively succulent...pork stuffed dumplings and a clear broth that begs to be savored. The Pad Thai was spicy, crunchy and a total flavor dream. The Mongolian beef is different with soft beef and peppers, scallops and a special brown sauce that I love. The egg rolls are some of the best I’ve had in the area and the Singapore Noodles were not sweet but sang with curry flavors. I can go on and on here but be assured, if you choose to spend your money here you will be delighted.More
Well I like the restaurant, pretty clean, waiter nice and explain us everything we want to know about the menu, price reasonable, the menu is a mix between Chinese, Japanese and Thai, good presentation, the Hibachi plate come with soup and salad (almost 15 dollars)...was pretty good and the Thai food come just with rice (13 dollars) Thai food was ok nothing great. Well overall was pretty good definitely I'l come backMore
While shopping at Lowes we noticed this spot and decided to try it for dinner. Lin's is a great place tucked away in a shopping center but worthy of seeking out. The inside is well done with nice décor, booth seating and tables that are...spaced far enough apart to enjoy a meal. The atmosphere is comfortable here and everything is clean. The menu offers lots of options and even give the opportunity for a small or large size. We chose the smaller size and it was still plenty of food. The service is friendly and fast. Lin's also has a bar with cocktails and they do a happy hour pricing on week nights. Food is delicious and the price point in reasonable given the quality and size of portions. You can dine in or take out but do try this place !More
New. Trendy. Clean. Friendly. Good customer service. Tasty food. Delightful food presentation. Reasonably priced. Great location. Very convenient proximity to my home. Looking forward to going back and trying their happy hour offerings.
We're spoiled coming from the northeast where you can get excellent Chinese food. This was OK, but certainly not excellent. Service was OK, not great by any standard. My wife and I shared both dishes first was the Triple Delight which was good and had...a nice assortment for vegetables and meats in a nice sauce. The second dish was the Basil Duck which wasn't as good with very dry, grizzled duck, and not much of it. The vegetables were very nice and the sauce was so so. Both dishes came with soup or salad we had the Egg drop and Hot and Sour soup which was hot (a plus) after adding some Chinese mustard they were OK. We also had a choice of white rice or fried rice we chose the fried rice which was an extra charge which was fine, but one small scoop was a disappointment. The Upstate is not known for it's Chines restaurants.More
Lin's is one of those rare restaurants where you could feel comfortable dining in jeans or a tuxedo. Very classy and stylish decor, comfortable and well spaced seating and prices an average family can afford (Kids eat free on Sundays). The very well executed meals...arrive with an attention to plating and presentation you just don't often see in the price range. I recommend the Thai Crispy Fish. It was fabulous. The steak hibachi meal my wife got had fresh and quality ingredients you never see in hibachi/stir fry meals.More
