Food was great..... Service not so good !

The start of our meal did not begin well as we waited for the reception staff for 5 minutes before they realized we were waiting to be seated. They were too busy on their phones and chatting amongst themselves ! Finally got seated...... server was fast and efficient. Took our drink order and was back quickly with drinks and took our food order. Food took quite a while to arrive but not due to being overly crowded by any means. When food did finally arrive it was fresh, hot and plentiful. Getting drink refills was another story though ! Seems that the servers drop the ball on this part of the dining experience ! Overall a good meal despite a few hiccups !

Good food, great service.

In the area to pick up items purchased. We have seen Copper River a couple of other locations. I had the pepperoni pizza, better than average, crust could have been more crispy, on the salty side, but good. My wife had Grilled Fresh Tuna, she was very complimentary about her food. We were given fresh baked croissant rolls, very good, could have had a bit more glaze. Server was Vicki, excellent job, very friendly and helpful.

Great Service

This was my first time at this restaurant after hiking at Paris Mountain. We received great service by being greeted, seated, and orders taken quickly. I ordered the rib-eye quesadilla and the Copper River salad. The quesadilla was really good and the salad was average. I am a salad snob and noticed the lettuce was iceburg and not many vegetables. The turkey and ham mentioned on the menu were small pieces of what looked like imitation bacon bits or bits of canadian bacon. The dressing was good. Someone else at my table also ordered the salad but loved loved loved theirs and thoughts it was the best salad ever (and it looked just like mine). I will visit here again and try some other dishes. Their menu has a wide variety to choose from and the parking lot is ample for easy parking. I also think their bathrooms could be a little bit cleaner than they were.

Son home from college—nice dinner

We have visited this restaurant several times in the past for special family events and it has always been good. My son come home for the weekend with his new girlfriend and we all wanted steak so my son and I both agreed this was a great local choice. We arrived to a nice hostess and the wait was short for a Saturday night. We sat in the bar area which we all were excited so we could talk and finish watching games we had started to watch at home. Appetizers arrived; we asked for individual small plates never received, salads were fine but my Caesar salad looked like iceberg lettuce but that was fine. My son and myself both ordered Filet, medium and his girlfriend a Sirloin. I raved about the cheesy mash potatoes and told her she should try them, glad she didn’t! Steaks arrived, the filets my son and I ordered looked liked her Sirloin. When she dropped off our food I had to look at my steak for a minute, I questioned to myself was this really a filet? A filet is supposed to be a nice thick cut of meat, They had been cut to look they had been butterflied( which we did not ask for) and we both asked for medium ( some pink) but there was nothing medium about it except medium DONE. The cheesy mash potatoes had no taste and her Sirloin was as bad as our Filets. Needless to say it will be a long time before I/we good back.

During the course of house hunting, my wife, brother and sister in law stopped in for lunch. Waitress was friendly and accommodating. We all ordered different dishes ranging from she crab soup, steak nachos, wings, side salad, sirloin steak, and a "kitchen sink salad ." All food was tasteful and cooked as ordered. The portions were plentiful and the service was good. We will be return customers.

Rotten romaine lettuce in Caesar salad

The salad was bland and a little soft, I assumed it was a little old. But I picked through it for better looking pieces and about a quarter way through the salad, I found a severely rotten piece of lettuce. Stomach turning…. On the plus side, we each had the 6oz Sirloin steak which was perfectly cooked (med rare) and had good flavor. My fried shrimp was a little bland. Bake potato was good as well. Our waiter was excellent and apologized for the issue, but what concerned us most was the manager did not even acknowledge the issue. Stayed hidden in the office we assume!

Screwed up pretty much everything in a $300+ order!!

My work ordered over $300 worth of steaks from here tonight. They said how they were cooked was marked on the boxes. I ordered mine medium rare so I took a box marked MR. But when I cut into the steak it was well done! A co-worker who ordered his well done and took a box marked WD cut into his and it was medium rare. Pretty much every box was marked wrong. Either the person boxing the orders is an idiot, the cook doesn't know what they're doing or a combination of the two.

Way to Leave A Bad Taste in Our Mouths!!!

Food ok, but absolutely fuming about the 4% charge added to all bills unless cash is paid. This is not disclosed anywhere in the restaurant and unless you read your bill carefully, probably will not notice. "Cash price" is listed at bottom of bill and the 4% charges is automatically added as a line item. Really despise the way some restaurants are trying to hide these charges, which I believe to be legally questionable. I do believe that any added charges should be disclosed to customer BEFORE you order and you have an opportunity to leave. After your meal, you're stuck with the questionable charge. Really a deceitful was to do business Copper River Grill. No wonder your business has declined. We will not return, nor will our friends.

This is a nice restaurant. We visited for lunch and there were many choices. The atmosphere is great and the restaurant is lovely. Service was very good even though our server was really busy-we were never neglected. The food was plentiful and very tasty

Not so good

I had the chicken tender salad. The chicken was over cooked and the salad was iceberg. The only thing I thought was good was the croissant. Not cheap either. I wish it had been better. It's a nice restaurant and the service was good. Will not bother to go again.

Back on the right track

Prime rib was very good, not oversalted. House salad with house dressing was excellent, as was my baked sweet potato. A couple of years ago their food dropped in quality and quantity, they seem to have gotten back to where they were originally. Wish they would bring back the cream spinach

Always Great

My wife and I stopped in for a quick dinner and had a great dining experience. We started with the queso and chips. It was delicious. We then split the club sandwich, they make the best club sandwich. The service was excellent and I am looking forward to our next visit.

Some Love for the Copper River

Its been a while since we have eaten at Copper River. We went the other night and from the service to the food and atmosphere, we were sold. Club sandwich was absolutely loaded. The burger that I had was of the kind now that one would have to say was "upper tier". Looked after and treated as they were glad we came.
