Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We popped in on a Sunday evening to dine here for our first time . We waited to be sat and as we stood there a young lady got up from bar and came and sat us, I was thinking she was on break , but she informed me she had clocked out . The tone was sat for the night, the hostess is one of the most important people in a restaurant where you are to wait to be sat. In this case the lack of a hostess was noticeable but I appreciated the young lady for sitting us , probably the greatest service we had that night. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and the restaurant was empty , she told us of the roof top dining area . I strolled upstairs and there were all the people lol. It was a beautiful November evening . I ordered the ribs and my wife got the trout and my son ordered the wings , I tried to get cole slaw as a side but learned it only comes with one dish and can’t be substituted or purchased separately. We each got salads too , at this time a ten top , a seven top and a three top walked in within 10 minutes of each other . The missing hostess was very noticeable now. I will admitted service declined now, but, being a restaurant manager I am very sympathetic to the servers . Our salads came out after fifteen minutes or so , then shortly after that our main entree was served. The ribs looked ok, but they were charred and dry. My wife loved here trout , she had been told the vegetables could be onion free , they weren’t. My son thought the wings were good and he finished them up quick .When we saw our server next I asked for their famous q sauce, five minutes later I was informed that the kitchen prepares the q sauce so it takes time, and after another five minutes it came out . I was expecting warm sauce , maybe, since the kitchen prepares each 2 oz portion cup but it was cold. I pictured it sitting in a reach in , then getting squirted into a cup lol. We had the peanut butter bombe for dessert, it’s just a cheesecake slice not like a chocolate bombe lol. I will give this place another shot one day lol. Maybe I’ll do a sandwich ..

We were looking for a new dinner spot and we found it! The inside was clean and comfortable with plenty of TVs for a game day. We ordered the handmade burger, which did not disappoint! It was delicious, juicy and cooked a perfect medium. The ketchup that accompanied the fries, also nice and crispy, was homemade in house. We also ordered the beef sandwich. It was flavorful with just the right amount of heat. Every dish we saw coming out the kitchen was picture worthy. Shane , our waiter was terrific. On our way out, we were asked by the manager,Mike, how everything was. It was delightful to know he wanted our input. We can’t wait to try the wings this week

Excellent service and amazing food. The dry rub ribs were fall off the bone and meaty. Smoked chicken wings were outstanding. The best dish was the shaved steak sandwich with melted cheese, mushrooms and peppers. We can’t wait to go back to sample more of the chefs menu.

Have eaten here twice. Went for the food, the beer is a sideshow for me at dinner time. Wings and ribs were very good. Second trip I had the trout. It was prepared nicely, just kinda bland. Maybe that's going too far afield at a brew pub, maybe they just didn't hit on all cylinders that night. That being said, without a doubt the basic brew pub staples are very tasty.

Great staff. Great food. Cold beer. Easy to find and free parking. We are not much of meat eaters — their hamburgers are worth the trip. Will make Blue Ridge a regular stop.

A gem in downtown Greer. Comfy atmosphere and an eclectic menu of well prepared, pleasing dishes, including delicious steaks, seafood, juicy burgers, and Southern favorites like Shrimp and grits. Great selection of brews. Rooftop dining.

I’ve been here numerous times. The quality, attention to detail, and passion always stands true to the brand. Best house special to date! Stop by and try something new!

The fried pickles are fabulous, as are their burgers and homemade ketchup, but the ribs were terrible - tough and fatty. The barbecue is okay - nothing to write home about, but not bad - but there's not nearly enough of it for the price. We will continue to patronize this restaurant, but will stick to the pickles and burgers.

We went on a Friday night. All the other hang outs in downtown Greer were packed. This place wasn’t crowded. Service was horrible and slow. Would maybe give one more chance. Nothing special here at all.

Plenty of other places to choose from. It takes forever to get food and the food is okay but not good enough to stand out in my mind to come back.

Nice location in downtown Greer. Greer has become a very nice destination for folks in the upstate. Little congested with the work being done on Trade Street but worth a visit. Some very nice restaurants downtown. Not tonight at this venue. Service was slow. Food was so, so.

My old friend suggested this place when we were having a night out. Her advice was spot on. The steak sandwich was great (but be forewarned the cherry peppers are insanely hot so you may want them on the side like I did), and the mashed potatoes were delicious. The service was wonderful also, fast and efficient but also friendly and attentive. My one gripe is that they were out of 2 of their 4 flagship beers, and the other styles they had aren’t my cup of tea so I was unable to try the beer I had heard was great. But the next time I visit my friend I’m sure we will be back.

We were with a group of 10. Always a tough service for any restaurant. All came out as ordered with 15 seconds of each persons order. Most enjoyable evening. All fairly priced for the quality. Will become a regular!
