Whether sitting at "the bar" or in a "booth" or outside on a pretty autumn day, service is friendly and professional with the management regularly checking on the patrons dining experience. Whether you like Italian or not, you gotta try one of their many pizza selections or calzones...believe quality rivals "mella mushroom" and the prices are very reasonable and easier on the family budget. Have to mention for all craft beer lovers, you will find a wide variety of brews and recommend during this "virus" season you might consider patronizing them by going home with a six pack or growler of their locally brewed beverages.

We loved eating here so much we went twice in the one weekend we visited Greenwood. Loved the Fungus Among Us pizza. Their white pizza rocks.
Love their beer and we're pretty tough critics!
Their service was great and it seems all the staff help each other out even though we had a main waiter/waitress both times. Ian and Benjamin were great (Oct. 2020 visit) and attentive.
We VERY MUCH appreciated that they wore their masks over their mouths and noses as you said - most of the people we encounter these days, anywhere, forget that.
We also really enjoyed their outside patio because we're trying to eat outdoors only, and they have a lovely setup.

My wife and I were in town and decided to eat lunch here after checking Trip Advisor. What a great choice! I had the Corleone sandwich and it was wonderful -- also had pasta salad. My wife tried the Mill House original and raved about it She had potato salad for her side and we both liked the pickle slice. She also tried a draft based on our server Ian's recommendation. We will visit again when next in the area. By the way, you can choose a 6oz or 12oz size glass for your beer. They also have a wide variety of standard and import beers as well.
We'll go back

An unfortunate choice. The cook can not be called a chef. From the salads to the entree you can get a better meal at a fast food restaurant. Sauce was so sparse on the pasta dishes that they can most aptly be described as DRY. This was the second chance visit (first one for pizza - less than memorable), and will be the last.

We had The Mill House recommended to us by some local people. When we arrived it was very busy. We were looking forward to a some good pub food, but many of the cook staff was out sick so Pizza was the only option offered. Well, we were here, we thought that we would try it. The restaurant was large and had a fun warehouse feel. They have a huge garage door that they must open in the summer.
Service was good. The beer was good, but it is a craft brewery, so this is to be expected. Something for everyone.
We ordered the Pauly's Preferred Pizza (a meat lovers choice) and the Buffalo Blue Pizza (chicken and blue cheese). I can honestly say that we were impressed. Pauly's had lots of meat and the sauce was good. The Buffalo Blue was amazing! If you like blue cheese, this is a must have. The pizzas were served hot and pretty efficiently considering that the kitchen was short handed. The kitchen staff clearly rose to the occasion as the restaurant was full. The restaurant did a good job in managing our expectations and delivering a good product while short handed.
The meal was expensive but we did get good quality and local beer. Another time, I would like options besides pizza to give a more complete review. I would try this place and form your own opinion. The pizza and beer was good.

Great pizza. My wife and sister in law ordered the chicken parmesan. The chicken was burnt and there was hardly any sauce on the pasta. The staff was happy to bring extra sauce but the dish overall was average at best.

So my family and I chose to eat at #MillHouse in Greenwood, SC tonight. Seriously bad decision. We arrived at 5:50 pm to put our name in for seating, a party of 9 adults and one toddler because we understood this is a holiday weekend and they will be busy. We were finally seated at 7:30 primarily because the adolescents at front of house could not figure out how to pull a six top and a four top together to create a ten top. There did not seem to be a real adult in attendance that was managing anything. One of the kids that was trying to manage front of house actually raised his voice to me and was completely inappropriate in his response to me when I questioned them about why it was taking so long to seat us. I asked him in a respectiveful manner. I was not ugly or aggressive in my inquiry to him. But he raised his voice and was ugly to me to the point that I said to him he needed to show some respect. My family and I over the years of Mill House’s existence have spent thousands of dollars there and have tipped the wait staff very well. I am done now. Do not go to the Mill House if you have a party larger than four people.

I was starving on a Sunday and showed up for a late lunch. I sat at the bar and the bartender was great and she was very efficient. Food was very good (I ordered a chicken Caesar salad). The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because I didn’t really taste any of the food they are renown for. I would definitely go back and I definitely recommend.

We planned to stop here, on our drive home, after a long hike in upstate SC, so rolled in, late afternoon, and quickly found a nearby parking space. It was pretty busy when we walked in, but we found 2 seats at the bar, which we had hoped for. Sitting at the bar enables you to watch the pizza/calzone prep, and see into the fiery oven…always entertaining!
The cheerful young woman tending bar gave us a beer menu, and there might have been 2 dozen beers on tap - what a great dilemma! After narrowing our choices down, we asked her advice, and she recommended an award winning red ale, which we both ordered. Excellent recommendation, as it was delicious! We both ordered a calzone, which hit the spot, and we both took half our calzone home, and finished it the next night for dinner. Still delicious!
Also, it was still Happy Hour when we arrived, so our ber was a bargain.
Great food, great beer, great service, lively and pleasant atmosphere. We live an hour and a half away, or we’d be here pretty often! As it is, we make a point to come here whenever we’re passing through.
Excellent, excellent establishment.

Wife and I were in town on business and stopped for lunch here (05/11/2023). She got a personal pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni, and I got a calzone with pepperoni and salami. With the calzones, you can build your own, choosing whatever sauce and fillings you want. We also shared a dinner salad. The next table had an antipasto salad that looked really good, so we might try that next time. Our salad was good though, as were both of our main dishes. There was enough that we could each bring some home for later. Server, "Ian" was top notch.

I ordered the Mill House Original sandwich with a side order of potato salad, and I can honestly say that was the best tasting sandwich I ever had! And the potato salad was so good that my wife asked our charming and efficient server Dakota what was it that made it taste so wonderful. We had a great meal thanks to the excellent service and food.

We were in here over the weekend. It was packed! You can definitely see why as the food was good. They have a good variety of beer as well. Our waitress was missing for large chunks of time that may be attributed to just being crowded or perhaps she was new, not sure, but still a nice night out in Greenwood.

Great local pizza place. Friendly staff though none of them wore masks. We sat outside which was nice. Had Buffalo chicken pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both very good. Would go back for sure. Pizza came fairly quick.

We tried this restaurant while in town for the weekend and it was great. The pizza was delicious as was the hummus appetizer. Great vegetarian options. The service was fast, good, and friendly. Great choice of local beers. Very crowded. Jesse did a fantastic job.
