Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great Harvest Bread Company has delicious breads and baked goods. The popeye bread is our favorite. We also adore the Savannah bars. Arrive early on Friday and Saturday mornings for their delightful cinnamon rolls.

I love baked goods. The only place I can find the scones (the way I love it) is at the Great Harvest Bread company here in Greenville on Woodruff road. Staff is friendly, accommodating and most of all- happy.

Had never been to this place before, I was not disappointed. The fresh made breads and scones were awesome. The chicken salad was the bomb ! ( bomb is good ). Not so many items that it was confusing, just a great variety. I will...go back !More

I've always believed the next best thing to eating food, is talking about it. The better the food--the more I want to share it's wonders. Yelp is the perfect avenue for foodies like me to share. When sharing about all things categorized as delicious yeast...yumminess, Great Harvest Bread rests at the top of the grading scale for me. It's a high honor in a world where just about everyone doesn't measure up. From the first bite among the plethora of sample choices offered, my senses exploded with yumminess. In Home Economics II, Miss Singer drilled into us that "all good food comes from good ingredients...No shortcuts..." A precept I try to live by. With that in mind, I've learned GHB grinds their own flour. Also, they're happy to share their list of organic and fresh ingredients and walk you through their products. Though their ingredients are of the highest level, it's more than that--it's the sum of them mixed with love and baked to perfection that equals a happy place for all. Inside you'll find a bright, airy and spotless environment. It's free of the hoity toity uncomfortable feeling that comes with certain niche places. It's a comfortable wonderfully aroma filled adventure. Just walking in you're all in--There is no way you can leave without product. Trying the samples led me to buy the two loafs I tried, Extreme Cinnamon Swirl and Old Fashioned White Bread. Also, they sell Coffee and have a seating area. GHB has the cool feel of an earlier America that had specialty shops that survived by being the best. Places where you know their names and their story. Quickly I learned that the gentleman who runs GHB is a seminary grad and his wife is a nurse anesthetist and their children are grown. These folks are our neighbors and pillars in society. It's the best of community...It's an excellent deliciousness. You need to go there soon... and rediscover your happy place.More

I highly recommend the extreme cinnamon swirl or the Apple swirl for French toast. With pure maple syrup you can't go anywhere and find better than what you can make at home.

I was first introduced to Great Harvest 11 years ago when we moved to SC and our realtor gave us a loaf of bread along with a coupon for a free loaf. I should not eat tons of carbs and this delicious bread is hard...to say no to. I love the whole wheat, cinnamon chip, and spinach feta - just to name a few. I also love their cookies, scones and muffins. They have a coloring page that the kids can do at home for a free cookie. They have samples of all of the breads for that day - do yourself a favor and stop in to try some.More

My bride stops here regularly for a "Morning Glory" muffin. Great Harvest is simply outstanding. You walk right into the store to see racks of fabulous baked goods. They are more than willing to let you sample the goods before you buy. Warning!!! A sample...will simply make you want more. They serve coffee and are located right next to a Starbucks if you want some designer coffee. This place is worth a stop - plan to take some extra baked goods to where ever you are headed. I consider this one of the few places that merits a drive onto Woodruff Rd.More

We buy bread here on a regular basis - this is not a restaurant but a bakery. This is a franchise establishment. The parent company is located in Montana where most of the grains are grown and then shipped to each bakery where the grains...are ground into flour for the bread. The selection here is really amazing. They have a large variety of breads - some are sweet, some are just right for making a nice sandwich. They also have various coffees, Happy Cow milk, etc. We use the cinnamon chip bread for making french toast on the weekends.More
