Delicious as always

Fine Asian food in a comfortable attractive setting. We enjoyed Duck noodle soup, Pan fried noodles with seafood and pork stuffed eggplant. The best anywhere. Included white and brown rice and tea. Green tea ice cream was a perfect finish. Excellent service and timing. Sang Kee never disappoints. Prices are moderate, Off street parking available at no charge.

Hong Kong Authentic Chinese food and friendly Service and nice prices

Service with a smile and very similar to the Hong Kong experience. My wife had Mongolian lamb with snow peas, the sauce was exquisite and the lamb was tasty and tender; I had crispy duck which was delicious and a little on the greasy side but still succulent. We had duck rolls for an appetizer and they were also delicious. Coconut ice cream for dessert to top it all off. The staff was a real prize and anyone was glad to help you with any needs.

Shrimp dumpling noodle soup, flounder with honey & almonds and stuffed eggplant. Doesn't get better and under $50 for two, Still the best Asian around. Management staff and service are tops.

Great Appetizer and Soup, but Entree was Disappointing

Share review Embed review Write an update Edit review 7/29/2020 2 photos My daughter and I wanted to try a new Chinese food restaurant so we picked Sang Kee Bistro in Wynnewood since it's been quite a number of years since I had eaten there. We ordered a cup (pint) of Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Chinese Pizza and an order of Shrimp LoMein. The Chinese pizza was hands down one of the best we've ever had. It was nice and crispy all while being super flavorful. Usually we have a couple peices of an appetizer left over for snacks, but there wasn't a crumb left to savor later. The Shrimp Dumpling Soup had a very flavorful broth packed with tons of flavor. The shrimp dumpling were delicately wrapped and very tasty. There was a considerable disparity between the amount of dumplings (3 1/2 dumplings to a pint of broth), but it was a very delcious soup. Despite a 15 minute ride home, both the soup and Chinese Pizza were both still quite warm and did not require reheating. After such a great experience with our soup and appetizers, I was expecting a home run with the Shrimp LoMein. We were severely disappointed. There were next to no vegetables in the take out container other than a lone carrot slice and the noodles were bone dry without much sauce. I was thinking at first that maybe the noodles soaked up the sauce on the drive home, but they lacked flavor. There was probably a pound of noodles that when they were reheated for 30 seconds in the microwave, they became crispy and crunchy due to the lack of sauce. The only highlight of the dish was the 7 large shrimp that were lightly flavored, but very juicy. Maybe Sang Kee was overwhelmed with the number of take out orders, but I was very disappointed in our entree, especially when our soup and appetizer were just shy of perfect. We'll give Sang Kee another try in the future, but we definitely won't be ordering a noodle dish from here again.

Asian Fine Dinning

Four for dinner. Food, service and seating all excellent. Management and staff make sure all are satisfied. We ordered Tofu with vegetables, Stuffed eggplant, Peking duck, Hot and sour soup and brown rice. Jasmine tea a glass of Cabernet and assorted ice creams completed a delicious and perfectly served dinner. We will return often. A special nod to Frank, the Manager, who offers a warm welcome and oversees every detail to ensure a Fine dinning experience. Good decor. spacing and off street adjacent parking. Very busy on weekends. Mondays through Thursdays are very relaxed. Pricing is reasonable. Never disappointed with House Specials. Pad Thai is special.

Great dim sum for suburbs

We stopped by Sang Kee Asian Bistro in Wynnewood for some dim sum a la carte. They also have regular chinese dishes on their menu. Enjoyed their rice rolls variety and dim sum dishes were hot and steamy. Service was friendly and fast.

The best Asian anywhere

Family Saturday night dinner. Great service and quiet attractive ambience. Prices very fair and very reasonable for quality of food. We enjoyed shrimp dumpling noodle soup,. Baked fish with honey walnuts, coconut shrimp, stuffed eggplant and spicy lamb. All was delicious. Affordable wine by the glass or bottle.

A great restaurant.

Large bowl shrimp noodle soup. Flounder with walnuts, pod Thai Served two well. All delicious. Well served and oh so flavorful. Best Asian in area. Great seating and decor. Reservation honored, immediately seated. Paced as requested. Assorted ice creams for dessert.

the pineapple buns with custard are fresh, soft and not too sweet. dim sums dishes are comparable to those served in Hong Kong. the beef with flat noodles is excellent. congratulations to the Chefs.

Always a hit

Dinner with friends was a delightful evening. Always a warm welcome followed by truly delicious dining. Every dish from soups to desserts was exciting and carefully prepared. The flounder with honey walnuts and stuffed eggplant are always pleasing. Mongolian lamb was another table favorite. Service; friendly, precise and well timed. Prices are easy on the budget and seating allowed for good flow of conversation Every table filled and for good reason. Nothing nearby comes close for quality, taste, service and value.
