About
The Field embraces its farm-to-table mentality using the freshest ingredients available including local breads, a variety of regional Amish cheeses, and private blend of sirloin, chuck, brisket, and short rib to create our hand-formed burgers. The Field offers an extensive selection of craft beers from State College and Central Pennsylvania. Our milkshakes are hand-spun using the legendary ice cream from Penn State’s Berkey Creamery.

My daughter who attends the neighboring university recommended I try this place ... and she did not steer me wrong. I had a GREAT burger (which is what they are known for). I went for The Lancaster which includes bacon, cheddar, and a fried egg....More

We tried The Field for the first time in November 2018 with some friends (who have previously been to The Field) for my husband's birthday. It was an away-late afternoon PSU football Saturday. We got there around noon and had no wait. By the time...More

Met a friend for lunch. I ordered the Black and Smoky Blue burger without the bun and an order of Parmesan Truffle fries. It came on a bun so when I removed it in front of the waitress and lost most of the cheese she...More

My friend and I were there for dinner and had the wings and turkey burger. They were both very good. The cidertini was fantastic and Bailey our server was awesome. All in all it was great and I highly recommend it!

Food was really good, menu is limited, but I guess that’s the idea of this place. Burgers and a great spinach salad. Long lines and it’s very loud in there, that’s why I took off a star, it’s hard to talk to each other. It’s...More

Food was excellent. Atmosphere was also great. Seemed to be frequented by many locals, along with visitors.

I really like the atmosphere in this place (rustic industrial). There is often a long line to get in, so be warned. Also, come with a big appetite and save room for their delicious shakes. It can be a little loud when crowded, so perhaps...More
