Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Cute spot we stopped at for lunch before a trip to the Heinz history museum. The bulgogi and kimchi were delicious. So good that after the museum we went online and ordered takeout to bring back to the hotel for dinner. Great service, friendly and...engaging.More

We waited for about 15 minutes to be seated and another 20 to 30 minutes to get our food. Food was tasty but we found the portions to be on a smaller side especially if you are really hungry as we were. However, it was...reasonably priced and tasty. We are used to Korean food where you cook yourself in the middle of the table. Here the food comes prepared to you. Also, I was surprised to be charged $1.75 for a small dish of spicy sauce. It should have been complimentary.More

Use to work downtown and got this every other day, it’s been almost two years since I’ve had Bae Baes. Oh how I missed it. First time ever dining in, stepped outside Childrens hosp for a little for some much needed air and this place...has and still is everything. The martini was so good, the soo pork dumplings amazing, and my Korean fried chicken and rice hit the spot. Our server was great as well! Ty again bae baes kitchen we will be back!More

Came here this past weekend while visiting our daughter in college. We lucked out with on-street parking nearby and were seated quickly. Cute decor inside and all the staff / servers were very pleasant and helpful. My wife ordered a lychee martini, which she adored...daughter...had a milk (bubble) tea that was creamy and full of tapioca balls. We did our typical routine and ordered a bunch of items to share: garlic cheese wontons, sweet potato fries, dumplings and Korean fried chicken wings (KFC). Food service was on the slower side, but we were in no rush and it all worked out just fine. The garlic cheese wontons came out first, so we treated this dish as our appetizer course. They came served with a spicy mayo for dipping and the combo with pungent and had a kick at the same time. Then the other three dishes arrived. I am not really a sweet potato fry kind of guy (normally too sweet for me, I am more savory) but these panko breaded hand-cut fries served with the same spicy mayo from above worked just right! We chose a pork-filled dumpling and they came with a garlic soy sauce that amped up the flavor. Lastly, the KFC...large wings coated in a sweet sticky garlic soy sauce that just killed it. We were all so happy and impressed with our meal, can't wait to come back and try more goodies across the menu!More

We enjoyed the banh mi sandwiches at Bae Bae’s! The Korean bulgogi and lemongrass chicken sandwiches were both excellent! While I have not had cauliflower in a sandwich before, it was great in theirs!

It is a cute little place. The staff was helpful and personable. The food was served quickly. This was a box meal, but served with a nice presentation. Everything seemed fresh and was very good. The Korean Fried Chicken was very good!

Was not expecting such great food when looking in from the sidewalk. Great service, took the time to explain how to order. Food was great and the flavors were excellent. Loved the refreshing salad that came with the dish. Only drawback was eating out of...the to hour container, even when sitting in the dinerMore

First and foremost, the food is fresh and full of flavor. It's a simple design by choosing one of 3 bases (rice, noodles, or greens), add your protein, and pick a small side salad. I got the tofu which was a generous portion unlike other...places with small bits. The sauces are just packed with flavor. All service items wood or paper and you can easily get in and out over a lunch hour (including your walk to and from!). The dining area is comforting and even though it's busy at lunch time, there were enough seats for patrons. There is no table service but there is an area with water, cups, napkins, etc. that was well stocked and close by. Seriously - these people got it right at all levels! Also priced affordably considering the great food! Workers very friendly.More

I came in with some work colleagues and ordered the steamed rice with spicy chicken. It comes in a box (easy to go, not easy to eat out of). The rices was a clump of purple mess. There was very little chicken and it would...have been nice to mix the chicken/veggies with the rice. They also give you those "sustainable" forks which are terrible. This place is just not my style.More

In Pittsburgh on a business trip, heard about this place from a Lyft driver as it’s close to the hotel I was staying at. This is a small shop along one of the main streets in downtown. I didn’t realize they closed at 8pm as...I arrived at 7:50pm. They were very gracious to accommodate me and my order. I understand that I may not be the most liked person coming in 5min before they closed. Anyway, I’ve had Korean fried chicken before in NYC so I had an idea of what to expect but I know I had to keep my thoughts open. The KFC menu item is to me their version of a chicken fried steak. It was two pieces of chicken breast covered in a crispy coating and placed on a bed of glass noodles (my option) and a salad. I’m a dark meat person but this was lovely. I enjoyed the chicken and noodles. I also ordered the chicken wings. They girl behind the register wasn’t kidding when she said they were jumbo wings. There were 4 wings and cooked to perfection. I love crunchy outside and meaty wings. These were definitely that. I would recommend this place for great eats. It is Korean style food done in a non traditional way. I enjoyed it and will go back.More

My husband and friend are here on a Monday night. Excellent tofu and tempura dishes. The purple rice was steamed to perfection, the crappy tofu and sauce was outstanding, with ample portions. We both had leftovers. The cucumber vinaigrette side was also delicious. And our...friend ‘s tempura dish was large and quite tasty. Including drinks, the cost was just over $30. Great value. Will definitely come here again!More

Portions are large so share if you have a family. The tempura vegetables and very crunchy and yummy. You can ask for specific vegetables if you want. I got it without mushrooms. The spicy mayo sauce was really good.
