Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The best tomato pie I ever had. This is not a restaurant. it's a store were you can buy great things to take home. Their roast beef and roast pork comes with gravy if you want it. I bought the hoagie spread and put it on my salad.I made a great chef salad

This is an Italian Market/Bakery not a restaurant. Take your time the first time you visit and take it all in. From the homemade Pasta and sauces to take and bake dinner's, of course the TOMATO PIE. It's so good it puts others to shame in the area for even trying. If you can't make it to this location, check out their Tomato Pies in other outlets like Shop Rite, Tanners or their other various locations. I had to buy a 1/4 pie today and sit back and watch the Super Bowl. YUM.

Needed some casual, portable food for a surprise birthday gathering. The tomato pies (one stenciled with "Happy Birthday") and mini cupcakes were beautiful AND delicious! Perfection! Without breaking the bank! Thank you so much!!!!

OH MY! I love a good CHEESESTEAK and Italian Bakery/Deli! This place is all that and more! They even have a small seating area in the back which isn’t much but nice to be able to have a sandwich or quick lunch! The staff is friendly and professional helping you choose off a large menu is good and baked goods. I will never eat another cheesesteak without thinking about how good this place is! Bought some sandwich rolls to go! Yum! This is a MUST STOP for lunch if you are in the Plymouth Meeting area outside of Philadelphia!

Best tomato pie ever ~ always a necessity to take to our friends for a special treat. Hoagies and sandwiches are outstanding. And definitely need their month-watering bake items. Never a disappointment. Easy to get to with plenty of parking. Highly recommend to all.

In the area for a meeting. Thought I'd Google "Italian Bakery near me" and did. Within five miles was the Corropolese establishment, so I headed there. Wow. I walked in to find a rather busy - about 2 P.M. - deli, bakery, pizza shop - very interesting place. Sweets on the right when you walk in (the Baklava was tremendous); meats straight ahead - and what a selection, subs, sandwiches to the left...on and on. From pasta to frozen stuffed shells, to jarred goodies, to fresh salads...I was happy I chose to stop in. I took three subs home and one, the roast pork with broccolini, was outta this world.

I used to live near Corropolese Bakery and miss it so much. They have the best tomato pie in the area. I suggest stopping by early in the day as they do sell out especially around holidays and weekends.

I have purchased tomato pie several times for special events. They have the best in the area and I grew up around the corner from another Italian bakery with good tomato pie. Corropolese is my favorite.

My husband and I were in the area from Ohio to watch my son's soccer team play against a local team. We wanted to find somewhere that we could pick up sandwiches for lunch to take to the game. I found Corropolese online. So we stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and we were excited to find the place bursting with energy--employees working hard, customers walking out with boxes of tomato pies. Everything looked delicious. We ordered our hoagies and, while we were waiting, we became intrigued by how many people were buying tomato pies. We couldn't avoid the temptation to buy one. Remember--we're from Ohio and, although Italian, had never tasted one. Later, when we ate our lunch, the hoagies were delicious and the tomato pie was truly heavenly. I'm so glad we tried it. I'm just sad that we have nothing like Corropolese or tomato pies at home.
