We came because I had never experienced the rolled ice cream thing. There were tons of options, with clear labels for allergies and gluten free options but I was sold on the cookie dough one and my boyfriend wanted just cookie dough. Unfortunately they were...out, so we had to choose something else and ordered one of the Taylor swift themed ice creams. The experience of watching it being made was really cool, the staff was also really friendly. The price was a little high for what we got, but the ice cream was pretty good.More

Very cool and unique ice cream experience. You pick what you want and watch them make it from liquid mix, adding the mix ins and freezing it right in front of you. They spread it thin on a super cold plate then scrape it off...in rolls.More

I came here after dinner on a weekday evening.  It was the first time coming here so I was excited to try something new. The place seemed nice enough.  There were menus posted on the wall for the more popular or signature items. I chose...the PBCUP ($7). The description on the menu board listed peanut butter, "tonnns of PB cups",  chocolate syrup,  and whipped cream.  It probably had an ice cream flavor there as well.  However,  once I read about the "tonnns of PB cups" I was sold. My friend and I pay and are directed to the area where we can watch our ice cream queens make our order.  The first thing my ice cream queen does,  is set down two adorable miniature Reese's peanut butter cups. Below the two pb cups she takes a bottle of peanut butter and draws a smiley mouth.  I'm starting to get excited! This pbcup eye, peanut butter mouth,  dessert face is smiling at me and you better believe, I was smiling right back! Next thing, my ice cream queen pulls out an adorable glass container filled with fresh cream that I can only assume has been milked straight from the dessert gods. She delicately pours the cream around our pb-eyed, pb-smiling goodwill ambassador.  And now the show truly begins! Our ice cream queens have now procured the only appropriate tools to complete their task,  dry wall putty knives. I watched in amazement as the once smiling, peanutbuttery face of my dessert friend, had now been chopped apart by home improvement/kitchen tools. After flattening the eyes of the dessert face,  the ice cream queen made a hearty display of flattening out, squeezing some chocolate syrup, and some PB syrup, before artistically rolling the cold cream into logs and delicately placing the rolls into my dessert cup. OK NOW IS THE MOMENT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!! She is going to load this sundae up to the tippi top and overflow my cup with those sweet "tonnns of PB Cups" they were talking about.  She takes the cup back to the counter.  I hear the hiss of the whipped cream canister.... any moment now! And ALAS, here comes my beautiful ice cream Queen, one that surely has been sent from the heavens above, and she's got my sundae in her outstretched arms.  I can barely contain my excitement as this PB Cup sundae will never find love better than what i'm about to give him!! Once it's in my hands,  I feel the blood rush through my veins.  My heart is pulsing so fast that I can't hear anything other than the triumphant voice in my head telling me that I've made it! I've made it this far in life,  and this far in the world,  that now is my moment to celebrate.  Im going to celebrate SO HARD with this $7 PB CUP sundae with "tonnns of PB Cups"!!! Just as I stopped to thank my lucky stars,  and give thanks to all those who brought me to this moment....I glanced down at that $7 PB CUP Sundae served with "tonnns of PB Cups" and do you know what I saw? ONE MINATURE REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER CUP PLOPPED ON TOP OF SOME WHIPPED CREAM.!!! One. Now I know you might be saying," Hold up, girl. That's just the finishing touch on top. There were a bunch of PB Cups mixed in the middle." And I really respect you trying to keep me level-headed sometimes. But LET US NOT FORGET the beginning of this tale where the ice cream queen placed two minature PB Cups in the face and mixed those in. That is TWO MINATURE PEANUT BUTTER CUPS. TWO. MINATURE. PBCUPS. in a $7 sundae that advertised this very selection as having "tonnns of PB Cups." Obviously, "tonnns" is not a standard unit of measurement when it comes to most recipes. Nor would any educated adult believe that a PB Cup sundae, described as having "tonnns" of PB Cups actually have one ton of anything.  HOWEVER, I believe that any educated, or uneducated, man,  woman, or child who is ordering a sundae described to have "tonnns" of anything will be expecting more thanTWO of that thing. In conclusion, this place was a rip off. Ice cream was no better than any other ice cream place on the main drag.  Certainly the toppings and price were off putting as well. I did ask the girl if I could have more PB Cups because I thought the sundae would have more than TWO MINATURE CUPS mixed in and ONE MINATUE CUP PLOPPED ON TOP.  She did give me one more minature cup but scolded me because any extras needed to be ordered and paid for.  Obviously, I should have known that the correct and widely accepted number for "tonnns" is 3 (and 3 minature obviously). Wouldn't go back. More

Ice cream was ok but not that flavorful-best with chocolate as a base. Fillings were good but overall it was overpriced and underwhelming.

The idea behind this place is awesome, it's really neat to watch them making the ice cream in front of you. Unfortunately though, the dessert itself was such a let down. The base had zero flavor, I got raspberry, I chose the American, and the...only thing I tasted was sea salt. This place is also really small, and when there is a line that means no seating. It kind of sucks to wait forever (very very slow moving line), pay almost $8, and then have to stand up outside to enjoy it.More

First time visitors and we loved it. This is a fun concept and much better than Cold Stone Creamery. So you pick a ice cream base flavor like vanilla, chocolate, strawberry or one of the other 2-3 flavors and then you select from a huge...list of items that will be mixed into ice cream - finally I get what I want. Basically you get to create your own flavor. They write your name on the ice cream cup and list the items you want, when it’s your turn the ice cream professional calls your name and you get to watch them create your ice cream on a large cold area which freezers the ice cream, when done they scrap it into rolls and put it into your cup, add additional toppers like whip cream, sauces.... it’s not cheap, but worth the $7 a cup. I highly recommend it as a special treat.More

We tried it out and you pick your ice cream and then what to mix in- you can either choose one of their selections or make your own. If you do your own, you get three ingredients included. I chose pecans, oreos and caramel with...vanilla ice cream. The vanilla is a liquid and they crunk the ingredients on a very cold plate and mix it around- the liquid becomes frozen and they spread it out and then when it freezes, the roll in up and put it in a cup. It was very good but there is not much ice cream in the concoction - it was very tasty but pricey also for what you get.More

I took my 3 kids to experience this new ice cream. Our wait started outside for about 5 minutes. Upon entering there were more than 20 people in front of us. They only have one cashier taking orders. They have three ice cream makers. My...kids thought it was fun to watch them make the rolled ice cream. I had the brownie and it was very good. My kids did not have any complaints. I would have rated it an excellent if it wasn't for the long wait.More

Pros Great service Cool idea Consistent topping taste in every bite Cons Price LONG WAITS Not enough flavor for the premium price My wife and I took our daughter to NatuRoll on a Saturday. She was very interested in trying rolled ice cream. It's in...a great location right in the middle of the main shopping area in Lawrenceville. We had to wait a few minutes just to open the door there were so many people inside. When we finally got in there were maybe 20 people ahead of us. We moved through the line slowly but surely. Each individual ice cream takes 3 minutes or so to make, so with 20 people in front of you, the wait can be considerable. We paid, the woman at the register was very happy and pleasant as were the girls making the ice cream. My wife had the dirt sundae. She enjoyed it. I will say the flavor of the dirt saved it for her. My daughter had the mint chocolate sundae. It tasted about like any normal, purchased in the container mint chocolate chip ice cream only with bigger chunks. I got the salted caramel pecan sundae. Last weekend I was in South Carolina enjoying the most delicious Pecan Pie, so I was hoping to re-live the memory. It was not to be. My sundae lacked flavor of any kind even with plenty of caramel syrup and salt added. It really just tasted like something cold and sweet. If I blindfolded you, you would have a hard time naming what you were eating, it was that bland. For the novelty it might be worth the trip. For a sundae with powerful topping flavors like mint or oreo it was decent, but overall, I would go to a regular ice cream place, or the grocery store.More

This is a fun place to go, but I agree with other reviewers that it's an expensive treat. I don't think it's as good as Bruster's or Graeter's or Handel's -- or other places where the emphasis is on the ice cream and not so...much on the toppings. Seating is at stools at a counter -- very uncomfortable, especially if your bottom shows the results of eating too much ice cream.More

My family and I stopped in the Cranberry location. While it is not well marked from the street, it is worth seeking out. The staff was very friendly and patient as we did not know what to order. The presentation was cool as we watched...them make our ice cream. It was really nice to see them write out my daughter’s name in the roll before finishing. We tried the apple pie and pumpkin pie- both were awesome and very filling. You must stop by and enjoy it!More

Stumbled upon this place on a walk. The servers are very friendly and while I wouldn't usually spend this amount of money on ice cream, it certainly is an art and I think it was very much worth it. Definitely recommend if you want a...tasty treat that is beautiful too! I also have celiac disease and they were very accommodating to my gluten free needs, making sure no cross contamination occured.More

Had to go because it looked so fun and was definitely a unique experience that you can't find on every street. Their rolled ice cream treats are very photogenic and inviting, and it is really fun to watch them being created in front of you!...The staff is very friendly and conversational. Unfortunately, I don't really want to go back. Prices are high. Every treat is $7.50 - you could buy 2-3 gallons of ice cream with that. While the staff is very friendly, they could use help in service time. Actually blending and making the ice cream is not as long a process as you would think. It's the "do you want a roasted marshmellow on that?" that the staff will stop making ice cream, put down the tool, and ask you if you want, then they have to get the marshmellow and blowtorch and then they ask "how roasted would you like it?" and so on and so forth - basically these treats are way too customized and it kills time - especially when the line is out the door. The worst part - the ice cream isn't good. The toppings taste like the toppings...fruit tastes like the fruit and oreos taste like the oreos - but as for the vanilla and chocolate ice cream itself, it's actually pretty bad. There's not really any flavor. The flavor is in the toppings. It leaves you wanting more. I would so much rather go to Brusters, or Page's Dairy Mart, or Sarris and pay half as much for a significantly tastier and higher quality product. But it was fun and would make for a cute little date night or something.More
