This was our first visit to the Capital Grille. We requested an outdoor table due to Covid and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and saw the covered tent, complete with carpeting, nice lighting and background music, comfortable chairs and linens on the tables. While waiting outside to be seated, a very nice gentleman asked us if we were offered cocktails and proceeded to take out order and then delivered them to our table once we were seated about 5 minutes later. Our server Nicole was very friendly, helpful and attentive. She was always checking on us to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The pace of our dinner was perfectly orchestrated. Drinks were served and then we ordered apps, followed by dinner. All were served in the proper amount of time and we never felt rushed or that we were waiting too long for anything. A complimentary birthday dessert was served as promised and we all had a very nice evening. Prices are very high! Dinner for 6 people including premium cocktails, apps, entrees and dessert was about $900 including tip. Make sure you buy a gift card ahead of time and take advantage of the 10% bonus card-you'll need it!

We had a delayed anniversary dinner and staff made it like it was the day of our anniversary. The little extras were greatly appreciated. The table was decorated and complimentary chocolate espresso cake and champagne. We were seated at a side room for a nice atmosphere away from the main room noise. Aside from this, the meal and service was exceptional. We started with iron skillet shrimp. We shared potatoes au gratin with tenderloin / lobster and rib eye. Both served to perfection. The seasoning did not overwhelm our selection. Our server was Noelle. She was very professional with her courteous and timely attention. Capital Grille has top standards and she exceeded these standards.

My wife and I were celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary back in June with our annual meal at the KOP Capital Grill, our favorite local steak house we frequent both the one in Philly and KOP. For the first time I just couldn't give it the usual 5 star review. If I could I would give it a 31/2 stars actually we were that disappointed but it may not sound that way our complaint is strictly about the food and maybe the cost. The restaurant is decorated in its usual upper echelon steak house like NY and Chi. the staff was attentive and gracious our table was decorated and very nice(would have like a booth( like we usually get for anniversary's , not a big deal. .Our cocktails were excellent a martini and white wine cost only a couple dollars different, never get the cost of wine out at restaurants not worth it in my book. Appetizers were just OK the lobster bisque was not the same watery at best usually thicker and creamier shrimp cocktail was as usual very good 5 good size firm chilled shrimp the variation of the caprese salad was not great not what was advertised neither of us really liked it. Our main entree's were filet and lobster tail for my bride and I ordered the bone in rib-eye both medium, augratin potatoes and asparagus grilled here is where I have issues. My steak looked like it was blackened OK but because of that I had no idea where to start and also very thin a cut maybe lost size due to cooking this way and the bone was not in, the inside was too well done for my taste not pink as advertised . Wife's lobster was excellent but again the fillet was too well done nowhere near a true medium pink center. Unless its inedible we do not return food consider it wasteful but for the costs probably should have. The sides were both a disappointment asparagus was thin and grilled too long bad combination and the potatoes were horrible again thin in the sauce( milk) underdone potatoes nasty cheese. The complementary champagne and desert were excellent and the bride was presented with a rose beautiful touch . All in all not enough to turn us off from going back but will be very specific when ordering for sure Bill and tip exceeded $300.00 so we don't mind spending for a nice night out but expect better.

We’ve been going to capital grille a few times a month since the pandemic started for take out and have never once been disappointed with the quality of service or food. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Food is always top notch. Their lobster is some of the freshest I’ve had outside of New England. Steak is always cooked perfectly and melts in your mouth. Lobster Mac and cheese is to die for! We also enjoy the brussels and mashed potatoes!

I have been there for dinner but this time for lunch. We sat at a table and when the waiter came over, he immediately picked up one of our butter knives. A crud of hardened food fell off it. It was rather large and not sure how those washing the silverware missed it, and how whoever set the table missed it. I know it happens, but then I had to remind the waiter for a replacement. Next we asked for anchovies on the Caesar salad and we did not get them. When the waiter came by we asked and he did get them. My wife loves her filet, and side dish. She thought her martinis were very good. My filet was okay. I also think the menu price was lower than the charge for the filet. Much of this I would let pass, but when you are paying close to $200 for lunch for 2, it should not happen.

This recent experience couldn't have been better. Our server/bartender Marissa and the team really made the Anniversary great. Our seating was special in the bar area, cocktails mixed just right, lobster bisque AWESOME, steaks done to perfection and the sides delicious. We are in no way associated with the Capital Grille but the 4 of us all loved the evening and would highly recommend the King of Prussia facility.

Our dining experience was outstanding.Hostess staff was gracious & accommodating seating us in the bar to watch the Phillies game. Our server, Matt was outstanding in every way from start to finish. He had a complete knowledge of all menus & is exceptionally personable/humble & was very kind to our child .the culinary cuisine presentation, generous portions & perfect “10” in taste / incredible an so delicious.. wine options are wonderful with endless choices high & low in price. Seating in very comfortable, modern & clean with sophisticated fun decor, beef tenderloin w/butter poached lobsters is absolutely our favorite! The entire staff’s teamwork & dedication is very noticeable during our dining experience. # 1 best restaurant for KOP!

I was in town for business. I’ll admit I’m a Ruth’s Chris loyalist but I’m not going to turn down a good steak anywhere. I sat at the bar and greatly promptly by the bartender. I order the old fashioned off the cocktail list. The drink was good the only issue was when I picked up the glass it was warm from coming out of the dishwasher. Sort of a minor detail but one I couldn’t overlook. Kept dinner simple, went with a Caesar salad, my strip, and mash potatoes. No issues with the salad or mash, but dinner is all about the steak. I order it medium rare and au poive. Cooked prefect and the sauce was good maybe be a little heavy on the cream as it was pretty thick. But the problem was the cut of meat. It appeared a little off shape for a NY strip. And when I got to the middle it there was a chewy portion. From what I know when you get towards the end of the strip loin another muscle is introduced and there is connective tissue between it and the the normal portion of the steak and that gets chewy. That is I experienced. Kept chewing and chewing and had to “spit” a few pieces out. At a high end steak house, I have to take a point away for that. Overall the capital grille experience gets high marks. You get that classic old school steakhouse ambiance. The service was great as was the food except as noted earlier. I also ordered a bottle of wine off the extensive wine list at a decent price. Overall I good meal and I’d go back again and order the strip to give it a second chance.

I went to the King of Prussia location for the first time, for my 53rd birthday. They seated us right away, we did have reservations. The staff was very nice and attentive. My food was excellent as was my drink. We had an issue with a intoxicated guest at the table next to us being overly friendly. He kept coming over to our table wanting to talk and interrupting our meal. I have to commend the staff at Capital Grille, they stepped in immediately when they noticed that he was invading our space. They even discounted our meal for the aggravation. I was very impressed and would definitely go back again. Kuddos to Capital Grill.

4 out of the 6 steaks we ordered were not cooked properly. The staff was prompt and apologetic in fixing the problem. You could understand if one or two steaks were underdone. But to have two thirds of the orders be done incorrectly is not something you would expect to find at the Capital Grille. My wife asked for her steak to be cooked without butter, which it was. However, in the reshuffling of the deck after everything went back to the kitchen, she ended up with a steak cooked with butter which did not sit well with her insides. Disappointed

I could honestly say my meal here was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had at a corporate or independent restaurant. Chris Amman the GM is hand down the best restaurant GM I have met. His attention to detail for my business dinner was beyond anything I could have thought of myself. Most of the service staff there has been since they have opened. Food was incredible, service was incredible. I don't think they could have done anything else better than they did. Hats off to you guys for running an amazing restaurant.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary and valentine's day. The table was decorated and the server wished us a happy anniversary. Server was very nice and friendly. Complimentary bread and butter was very good. Steaks were cooked to our specifications. Calamari appetizer was also very good. We received a cloudless chocolate cake for dessert on a plate that said happy anniversary. Overall it was a very nice evening.

Had a wonderful meal with several friends. I had the Seared Tenderloin With Butter Poached Lobster Tails and a Caesar Salad. Both were delicious and satisfying. The accompanying wine was a Chateau sea Laurets Puisse-Guin St. Emilion 2015 which was a very good wine.

Food was ok but service wasn't great. 1st time there and last. Our server Robyn was busy chatting with another employee when we were ready to order so we asked for the helper to take our order. Had to keep asking to fill up water glasses. Plates were slow to be removed. just no attention to detail. Expected so much more from a supposedly higher end establishment

Capitol Grille has so much going for it, and it delivers. I love the lobster mac-and-cheese in particular, and getting that with a filet mignon is always a treat. The free bread, as usual, is wonderful, so I must mention that :D
