Had the squid, lamb ribs and chicken katsu with cabbage and coleslaw sides. The olive rice is great and the smoky flavour is intense but balanced.
A great take away option and encourage you to support them through this time so we can all enjoy their food in-house.
Keep it up guys. Highly recommend the food.

The food here is stunning, I adore the squid, chicken katsu as well as the smoked ribs. The service is 5star and the location is walking distance from me. I LOVE coming here to eat - always a top experience, and I have never been disappointed.

We were staying near the airport and chose this Japanese restaurant close by from TripAdvisor reviews. Interesting menu, not the usual, very flavoursome dishes and friendly informative staff. Highly recommended

Great meat, otherwise expensive and bland. Really good pork and beef although with no flavouring so it doesn't look great at these prices. Any dish with rice is 90% rice.

Yan @WooliCreek is an Asian-fusion fine dining restaurant. Yan has two no-frilled menus: one for lunch and another for dinner. Diners can enjoy a shared menu with ingredients ranging from teriyaki sauce, Sze Chuan pepper, Sisho leaves, ginger, curry oil, Chinese BBQ sauce, Chimichurri sauce, sansho (Japanese pepper) with meat and seafood. I was fortunate to try almost everything from the dinner menu, thanks to a colleague's birthday celebration.
Despite the humble size, Yan stood out because of exceptional customer service and very good food. I enjoyed the charred kingfish, smoked pork rib, smoked beef short, and the ginger-lime dipping sauce for the smoked prawn.
While I appreciate chefs' effort into the food, I suggest a raise of food standard for some selections. I thought the tofu in Sze Chuan pepper and crushed peanut to be bland, plus the tofu was not fried (as described). I hope Yan at least made their own tofu.
The side dishes such as pickled cucumber, broccolini, and olive rice, are alright. However, the steam bao which I was looking forward to, turned out to be tough, cold, and below average. They were served when we almost finished the main dishes so we had no choice but to eat them alone.
I didn't mind paying over $80 per person for a small tasting menu (we were a group of 10), considering the quality and fine-dining style. However, it was disappointing to find out the desserts were not included. We ordered coconut ice cream & coconut jelly, which was nice but did not get a 'wow' reaction from me. If you've tried the Vietnamese version of it, you'll understand my verdict. The yogurt moose with fresh mangoes and the mandarin crumb was light, well-balanced, and refreshing.

Very good Asian fusion, somewhat a cross between Japanese and Chinese. A must try is the signature coconut ice cream desert.

We were staying in a grubby hotel nearby and luckily managed to find this restaurant. Had a great meal , squid to die for , brilliant coconut ice cream , friendly service , what more can you ask for

I have been here numerous times and each time is even better than the next. Super friendly staff who remember their customers, occasional free side dishes and/or drinks (just because!), and the food is absolutely incredible!

We were staying in a hotel at the international terminal and didn't want hotel food or airport food, so we did a little research and found this one--and it was a total winner! Food was amazing--everything was thoughtfully and perfectly prepared, staff were very friendly, but not intrusively so and we had a perfect last night in Australia. SO glad we went here!

From beginning to end the staff and service was incredible we made a last minute booking and needed up with a late time slot but when someone cancelled they called us immediately and squeezed us in earlier!
Our waiter was very friendly and explained the whole menu to us including making some recommendations for sharing.
1 waitress brought me a spare chair for my handbag because she didn't want to see it on the floor which was very thoughtful of her.
All of the food was amazing we couldn't fault any of it and we have vowed to go back and try the items we didn't on this visit. The layout is great you can see the chefs cooking the meals and every fable was full, they even have an outdoor seating area which will be fantastic in Summer. We look forward to coming back here

Took the birthday boy for his dinner, and we were not disappointed. The food is Japanese fusion with a theme of barbecue and smoked cooking methods in use.
The ribs were tender - the meat falling off the bone. The edamame; salty and nutty with toasted sesame and the right amount chilli.
