Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

T Bar is Transformed! The thin crust pizza is straight from the magic Italian approach - not the cheese slab thick goo often found in locals who think anyone can make pizza. This is the Pro’s at work. Add in a well selected cocktail (yes!) wine (excellent for casual dining) and good spread of beers and we were sold. Well priced and v good kitchen - the decisions of menu and drinks would fit any location where you want quality food served with a smile but no bill shock. We went back the next night. Nice work and highly recommended.

Wow! Just wow! It is impossible to put into words how much we enjoyed our dinner at the Tbar Restaurant. From the atmosphere, and the incredibly delicious menu and cocktails, to the amazing customer service from all staff, we could not recommend this restaurant more. I can’t wait to be back! (oh the scallops are like nothing like you’ve ever tried - they are a must!) Thank you team. Well done :)

Just arrived at Thredbo this afternoon and booked T Bar a few days ago anticipating high demand, which was good as more people were turned away (as they didn’t have bookings) than actually got to eat. A small selection of beer and wine but we were able to find something that we liked. Service was prompt and informative. Menu is mostly pizza and pasta along with some standard mains I.e. fish and meat (some of which weren’t available) with a few other lighter things (calamari, scallops, olives, fries etc.). We had pizza the previous night so opted for the pasta type dishes. My wife had prawn, chilli and tomato linguine (an old favourite here) and I had the mushroom and beef cheek risotto (new to the menu). The linguini lacked some of there expected chilli bite, but never the less was a lovely dish with big fresh prawns and fresh herb flavour. My risotto was one of the best that I have eaten. The mushroom risotto by itself was excellent, but the addition of the beef cheeks lifted it to another level. Mains were about $40-$45, which is a little expensive for pasta but we are in the ski fields following a long period of closure so prices probably to be expected. We shared sticky date pudding, which was also excellent. Total cost $170 for 1 entree, 2 mains and one dessert, and 3 drinks.

Great service, good ambience and pizzas were wood fired crispy and tasty. Sadly the pricing and quantity of drinks let this place down for us. At $15 a glass for a Chardonnay you would think they would fill the glass at least half full not a quarter (and the glasses were not that big) Also not just targeting this particular restaurant but the idiocy in wearing masks astounds me. So you have to wear a mask to go in and get seated and that’s fine but then when they sit you next to a table of 4 other people that are only about half a metre away and everyone is not wearing masks what’s the point?

We ordered two pizzas from a very limited menu. The menu provided two options, which I assume was small and large, however when you ordered online they only provided large options. When you are paying $36.00 each for a pizza, you expect quality and family size. The size was at best suitable for one and the base was over cooked. Very average.

Well this place would have to be the most unfriendly place in Thredbo. Our Pizza's were OK, just, with toppings being minimal. When asked if I could have chillies on my pizza the bill showed a charge of $1 - unbelievable.
Noisy table near by was annoying. A plus was the water which seemed to be bubbly.
Look elsewhere fir better portion control, atmosphere and friendliness.

This was a very popular little place so bookings essential. Food was fantastic. Shared and pasta and pizza and did not disapoopoint. Staff, including the owner I think, were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is was the time waiting for food. They also run takeaway and this seemed toe be serviced at the expense of the waiting diners. Did wait over 1.5hrs with a 3 year old

Second visit to T Bar this season was a cosy delight. New owners & staff have hit the mark wkth a fabulous menu & the service was excellent yet again. The wood fired pizzas are amazing, the large share plates are sublime, the mushroom risotto being an absolute treat and the rocket, cranberry & pecorino salad absolutely divine… very popular, so book in advance vis their website if heading to Thredbo so you don’t miss out… we will be back!

Expensive but you pay for location. Very good pizzas, wood fired, nice thin crust. Would have liked the Margherita to be a bit more traditional with buffalo mozzarella rather than plain cheese. Bbq chicken was a hit with kids. Beers v expensive $16 but good quality. Excellent staff and good ambience.

Just dined at T-Bar for the first time. We were super impressed, the food was sensational! Good atmosphere, super friendly staff, many gluten free choices for my husband who had the beef cheek and I had the prawn spaghetti, both were delicious. Servings were large but will provide doggie bag if you can’t finish. Looking forward to returning in two days time for dinner and trivia. Would highly recommend.

Family visit early Jan. hard time for the venues here with challenges around staff due to Covid but felt very welcomed and had a great meal. 3 Pizzas (2 Hawaiian and one Spicy Salami).
Great thin crust, well fired and full of flavour. Spicy wasn’t too spicy so is a good option for a little kick but nothing overly hot.
Thanks for a great meal and great service.

Well a business that sends patrons elsewhere says it all.
We can’t take your order because we are to busy.
The restaurant was empty at 7 pm This Thursday 13. 7 . 2022. Please go to Alfresco pizza ( The opposition) was the direction by the manager? It beggars belief that an empty venue with ample staff in view would send you elsewhere .
What sort of a business would do that.
Very short future for the TBar

Great service, very attentive and efficient. Food was delicious. We had an entree of polenta crusted calamari and scallops with Parmesan crust. Mains were the pizzas of fungi and prosciutto. Would recommend getting a pizza each as they are smallish and any left over can be takeaway for the following days adventure.

We booked our time slot for T bar on Saturday night and we’re so glad we did. The service was excellent and every single dish was amazing- calamari and salad, pizza, lamb and fish. Best meal of the holiday. My only regret was that we didn’t have time for dessert- so pace yourselves if you have an early sitting!

We had a fabulous dinner on opening night at T Bar. The new owners are so friendly and welcoming. The rocket salad with cranberries and parmesan with truffle oil is next level. The pizzas were also fab - highly recommend the mushroom one! We’re looking forward to going back again tonight.
