This is our second lunch at The Kling House. What a wonderful restaurant. Food is top notch scratch made, the old fashioned way. My "go to" is the smoked pork chop. Simply amazing. Service is also on point. I can't wait to return on my...More

This restaurant has great food and with unusual healthy recipes. Their hours are a bit limited, but worth the trip. Nearby Kitchen Kettle Village is an added attraction.

The breakfast here was delicious. I had the baked oatmeal. My new favorite. My husband had the French toast. Also good. It's neat that they are included with your stay. Although you can order from a regular menu. Waitress was very friendly too.

Eight of us decided to eat lunch here and were told the wait would be 20 minutes or more. The staff didn't mind that we placed ourselves on both inside and outside wait lists. Pretty funny, we were called for outside seating seconds before the...More

This is a nice moderately-priced restaurant with a nostalgic antique décor, with a good variety of food options beyond the typical 'American fare'. There's some with organic ingredients and a couple "fancy" salads, which set it apart from other restaurants in this area.

The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA. The house nurtured three generations of Klings and Burnleys before the Lancaster County farmhouse became a restaurant. The front porch, living room, dining room and office remain in tact but now we greet hungry guests for breakfast or lunch. Although coconut cream pie has become our signature dessert, the breakfast or lunch menus are full of Lancaster County recipes which feature Kitchen Kettle Village products. Cinnamon raisin French toast or baked oatmeal for breakfast. Cranberry chicken salad served open faced with Kitchen Kettle Cranberry Orange Marmalade for lunch. And the very best shoofly pie in all the land. We sometimes eat shoofly pie for breakfast! At Christmastime we offer special dinners with Mrs. Claus and Yummie the five Friday nights between Thanksgiving and December 19th. These magical nights fill up quickly, click here for all the details. When the weather cooperates, enjoy outdoor dining on the Terrace. You can watch the buggies go by and just relax in the sunshine.
