Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Enjoyed a nice dinner here mid-week with family. The menu is somewhat limited but diverse enough for nearly anyone. The server, Amy, was great with menu information and suggestions. The prices were a bit high, but quality and portions were good. Would definitely recommend checking...it out when in the area. Too early in the year, but would like to try the outdoor area.More

This was my third time here and it keeps getting better and better. Our waiter was incredible he never missed a beat. I must mention I was with 14 others. The chicken noodle soup was amazing. I had the filet and it was delicious.

Greetings. First visit to the Mill Saturday evening March 23. I was joined by three returning locals. Impressive facility. Unfortunately we ordered a strip steak and it was apparent at presentation the cut contained had an unusual amount of silverskin/gristle/tendon. In retrospect we should have...refused the cut. I don’t mind paying $47 for a Kansas City strip but not one that is significantly inedible. We did proceed to eat the steak which had a great flavor and was by perfectly cooked. Unfortunately we had too surgically carve the edible portion. When we mentioned the issue to the server Brady, he responded that a KC strip was appropriately fatty. The fat was not the issue. We were comped a desert but the experience was very disappointing. Before posting a review I did want to take the opportunity to privately relay the experience. 1. It was disappointing that the kitchen felt that cut of steak was appropriate to serve. 2. It was disappointing that Brady defended the the product served. Before returning to your establishment for a future visit, we would appreciate your take on our experience. I IM’d the Mill on facebook since I could not find a published email and never received any response. Many other fine options in Hershey area. I would skip this one. Seems they are confident they have enough business.More

We had the pleasure of eating here today for brunch. This place was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious. And the service was completely outstanding. We had a waiter name Bryce (I believe I spelled it right.) He was absolutely fantastic. Next time we are...in Hershey. We will definitely be going back here. Plus we will definitely be making sure we ask for him for our waiter.More

This spot is great for a casual date night. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Service was solid. I imagine this place is packed in the summer so make a reservation.

Nice place, service was good. Crab cakes for $40 were horrible. Dry, all filler, very little actual crabmeat. For $40! No salad, no rolls. Very disappointed. Will not return. I always wonder if the cooks, managers or owners actually ever taste the food they serve....For $40!More

We came to the Mill on a trip to Hershey to see the Hershey Bears play. We made a reservation and had to call earlier in the day to ask if we could move it a half an hour later because we were running late....They were very accommodating which was appreciated. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the goat cheese flat bread as a starter and it was delicious. So many great flavors. For our entrees we had the strip steak and the brisket. Both were excellent and came with yummy mashed potatoes and a vegetable. We were both very happy with how flavorful and tender the meats were. The atmosphere was rustic industrial with a nice ambiance. We would definitely come back again. There were several other entrees we wanted to try.More

We went to The Mill as part of a work group and from the moment we arrived the place impressed me. This is a beautiful authentic building and from the amount of guest it was clear it is a very poppular place. As we were...a big group we had a private room and bar facility on the 3rd floor - nice. Our food was served from a pre-set menu and everything was really good. Noboddy in out group could finish the portions - it is HUGE. The Mill is for sure a place I will visit again on a future trip. Keep it up!More

7.22.23 Wife and I drove up for dinner today we brought a friend along with us, we still had gift cards left over from covid that I purchased to help out with insurance for the workers. We arrived and the parking lot was full as...always, we were going to try and eat out on the new patio but it was full so we went to the basement and the bar only had 2 people at it so we sat down. We saw Amy but she wasn't working at the bar tonight she was serving tables instead of the bar. We sat down and the girl working the bar gave us some menus and took our drink order and told us about the special for the evening. It was a white fish with an egg plant puree with some mixed veggies, I would have got that but I don't like egg plant. Our friend ordered the special wife had the Summer Cobb Salad and I had the Filet. The meals were excellent, our friend was extremely pleased with the fish special said it was delicious and of course the Cobb and filet was excellent as well. Now dessert! We told our friend about the peanut butter pie here all the 2 1/2 hours up the road we told her how wonderful it is. Then when we ask for it we were told that they don't have it, that blew the wind out of our sails!! Another server told us that it would melt because of the heat of the summer that's why they don't have it now to come back in the fall. Im here now this is the first time we have drove up and they haven't had peanut butter pie, it was prepared in different ways but they always had it for I know the past 7+ years. We would get extra if we were staying in town to eat later it never melted it didn't have time too! So, we had to get something else. I decided to get the Cannoli cake, with in came out it looked really good! Well after that first bit all 3 of us were very disappointed, the cannoli cake I think had ways too many chocolate chips. And the cake was very dry, where was the cream that goes in a cannoli? That would have made it nice an moist and maybe then it would have tasted better with all those chocolate chips. Well at least we know not to ever get that again we’ll add will have to try something different for sure. We were just shocked because in all the time we have been coming here this was the first I guess it does happen.More

Dining here is a unique and memorable experience that combines the charm of the past with the pleasures of a modern dining setting. The architectural beauty of the space adds to the overall dining experience, transporting you back in time and providing a visually captivating...backdrop for your meal. The experience was nice and a decent meal. I had pan seared scallops with creamy polenta, sauteed wild mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, leek and onion jam, Smoked Pork Belly, Brussel Slaw, Walnuts, and crispy calamari with Banana Peppers, Shaved Shallots, and Citrus Aioli.More

Stopped in to have dinner at bar. Unfortunately 2 toddlers where taking up two barstools. What type of upscale bar allows kids at bar.? We were directed to downstairs bar. Was seated in front of dishwasher next to servers prepping silverware etc. Left after 1...drink. They lost $100 dinner tab cuz of little Jimmy and Jenny taking up seats. Tired of group bathrooms, kids at the bar and pets in restaurants.More

My friends I had dinner here recently and it was excellent. The house salad with the poppyseed dressing was perfectly balanced and yummy. I ordered the pork chop with mashed potatoes and it was juicy - not dry at all. My friend had the brisket...and she loved it!! I ended my meal with the chocolate brownie gelato for dessert and it was fab!! All in all, it was a great meal and we will be back!!More
