We are not from the area; our experience with other restaurants there is not extensive. Even so, there must be better around. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was terrific either. We had Lobster Risotto Balls, Lobster Pie, Sam's Shrimp, Lettuce Wedge with Blue Cheese, Sweeties...More

Used my $12 OFF Birthday Coupon and ordered the King Crab. Server recommended Crab Fried Rice and it was delicious. Nancy ordered Crab Au Gratin and raved about it. We will be returning soon for January lobster specials.

The food is always GRReat at Marblehead. Seafood, steaks, burgers and chicken...pick one this time... and another the next. Super menu, fine wine and a certain fantastic time.

They nailed it again. Great reception. The service was great and broiled seafood combo spot on. We will be back.

Marblehead is a little pricey for the area but has the best seafood in the Lehigh Valley, hands down. The Crab Norfolk is the best item on the menu but even the baked potato on the side is better than any baked potato I've had.

Have been going here for years as we do like fish but the price keeps rising for mediocre fast food type meals that are not worth it.( Even with a Captains Club $10 off reward). Our server Sarah was top notch. Our meal wasn’t. One...More

I always look for a local favorite. Clearly this place has a following because the seating area was nearly full for Friday lunch. The foot was good, but a bit costly and under portioned. Both my colleagues ordered the stuffed flounder special and were disappointed...More

The food is great. The bread is amazing. Reservations usually needed during dinner rush. I like to sit on the bar side. I love the wood accents and it just feels so cozy.

People need to eat what they want! It's a beautiful restaurant! Live it up! If you want healthy, eat a salad from your garden at home! That's what I do! When I go out, I treat myself, I mean ... why else would you go... More

Description
To make reservations, please visit us on Open Table! Founded in 1996 the ideas for the Marblehead Chowder House were actually hatched a few years before. Sitting at "The Barnacle," overlooking Marblehead Harbor one raw winter day, while the spume from the rough saltwater painted the windows and the Sam Adams Lager flowed freely, a concept was born. Casual, coastal and cozy - fresh seafood, fin fish, shellfish and hearty chowders in a warm, relaxing atmosphere that says "seaside" - a place that had tradition, patriotism, and a New England heritage about it. Fresh ingredients, house-made soups and chowders, comfort food with a twist freshly prepared to order were all musts! Features unique to New England were the foundation - Ipswich Belly Clams (aka steamers, softshells, pissers), fresh Lobster Roll, a Raw Bar with half-shell oysters and clams and, of course, live Lobsters arriving regularly. Authenticity was crucial - only without the sea breeze, gulls and scent of saltwater. Lighthouses and other nautical decor highlight the ambience to create a coastal dining experience like none other in the greater Lehigh Valley. Our mission is to provide a great place for our employees to work, enabling them to prepare and serve delicious food in a warm, friendly and efficient manner. We want to assure you, our guest, of a memorable visit and encourage you to tell your friends and return often. Your satisfaction is guaranteed or we will make suitable amends.
