Had a Wonderful Dinner Using Curbside Pickup at Lotus Inn

It was Valentines Day, and our family ordered 8 dishes, and everything was delicious. My husband used curbside pickup, and everything was on time. The rib appetizer was the great, with a lot of meat and a great sauce. The shrimp with snow peas had large, and tasty shrimp. Everyone was happy with their dishes. We have ordered in from other local Chinese places and usually have our food delivered, but thought this dinner was the best.

Varied Menu w Decent Food

Pickup order was good portions and food was tasty, but with 2 orders more than one rice was needed. Black Pepper Beef was good, Hout and Sour Soup was delicious, and the Coconut Shrimp Soup was a unique offering but we probably wouldn't order again. The Lo Mein was tasty with tender chicken pieces.

Good Chinese Food, Good Service.

Great traditional Chinese food and plenty of it. Our server Laura was very good and bless her for essentially running the house on a Saturday night at a busy time. Next time we are here we will visit.

The service declined at our latest visit

We've had very good visits and good meals here in the past, but yesterday evening they rushed us to finish eating, paying, and to leave 20 minutes before closing time. We have elderly family members in our party who cannot move quickly. This behavior on the part of the restaurant staff was surprising and disturbing, and diminished an otherwise good evening. It will make us think twice before returning here when there are other quality restaurants nearby.

Great food!

My son was dying to go to PF Chang’s last month. We drove all the way out there and they were to crowded to accommodate us. We searched up the Lotus Inn and had an AMAZING MEAL! From the apps to the entrees, everything was so great! We scratched PF Chang’s off our to do list...Lotus Inn so much better!!!!

One of my favorites for sushi

We’ve been going to Lotus Inn for years. Great selection of sushi , Japanese and Chinese food. Very nice staff and great service. Highly recommend!

The server barely spoke English so I wasn't sure he'd get the order right but he did. The food came out quick and it was fresh and delicious. The menu offers several types of cuisines. What my friends seemed to love the most was the sushi.

Good food & comfortable atmosphere

Restaurant has a nice, clean decor. They get a nice crowd for lunch but the environment is still quiet. Food is tasty, well-priced and with fair-sized portions. The service is quick and attentive. But the waiter swiped my friend's salad away from in front of her without even asking is she was done with it. There was still more that half of the salad left in the bowl.

We have been searching for several years for an asian restaurant to replace our most favorite China Royal in North Wilmington De which has closed. It has been a hard search. This is as close as we have been able to come and are glad to have found it. Look at the photos and you will see that it is a very comfortable place with good ambiance. Over the Sushi bar is a large screen TV that shows beautiful photos and also photos of the food available not a bad thing. The food was well prepared and each of our dishes were very good. I am not a sushi person but the two at our table that are were very impressed with their offerings. We had chicken and steak and it would be hard to choose which was better. But the surprise was the crispy noodles with vegetables it was fantastic, its offered with a proteins but get it with the vegetables alone. Service was very good even if a bit insistent since it took a while to digest the menu. But we will definitely dine here again soon.

Food was tasty and place was clean but still not my favorite

The place was definitely cleaner than our usual Chinese restaurant. The meat was flavorful, and the vegetables were crispy, so it was generally a nice experience. But, they served my meal American style - large chunks of chicken on one side and stalks of Chinese broccoli on the other side of the plate. It surprised me because usually Chinese food is cut in smaller pieces and mixed together, and I like it that way.

It's not bad

We usually skeptical about trying out Chinese restaurants outside of Chinatown. Lotus inn is in neighborhood so we had given a shot. It's good. The sushi was pretty fresh and main dishes are not salty like a lot other Chinese place. It's light and many in the menu has no soy sauce which I like. Will go there again

Very good food

We've been a couple times & the food & service is good. The sushi was fresh. The chicken fried rice was a little lacking in flavor. Prices are a little high. (Special sushi rolls are $15+)

It was years before I just returned to one of my favorite restaurants. Oh the food is still so good. Started with tasty hot and sour and got some chili paste on the side to add heat as I wanted. Then I ordered Singapore noodles that had a nice kick of spiciness. The noodles were light, the vegetables fresh and the meat tasty. My colleagues was absorbed in their dish, and the portions for both lunch meals was enough to leave half to take home for dinner. I'll be going back!
