I have never had a bad meal at El Paso. There are other Mexican restaurants within easy driving distance, but El Paso is my first choice. Prices are good, service is excellent. Plus, unlike other sit-down restaurants, once you place your order, you don't need to wait long for your food to arrive. Before you've finished the complimentary chips and salsa, the dishes arrive. Take-out is also available. Highly recommended!

Lunch on a trip back home

We found this little mexican gem on our way home from Ikea. Ikea not so good, but the food at El Paso was great. We ordered street tacos. They reminded us of our trips into mexico and picking up food from street vendors. Great food and friendly service.

Excellent food, good service, nice atmosphere

My favorite place to eat in the area. Generous portions for a modest price. Friendly staff. Inviting decor inside, or eat outside on the patio and enjoy the weather.

Not worth the wait

Food is good for the area and very reasonable pricef, however with the new COVID recommend ations they can't handle phone orders. They basically will not answer the phone. Last time it took 1 hour for them to answer

Not ready for service

Cinco De Mayo- overwhelmed, unprofessional, server didn’t even know the menu. Talked with the manager which could care less about what was going on. First time and last time we will step foot in El Paso. DO NOT EAT HERE!

Food is good for the area but not the best. However with covid times and take out they are Terrible. They never answer the phone , so we now go to another Mexican restaurant. They are not worth it!!!!

Food was good service was so so

Would have given them a higher score because the food was very good and authentic. But the service was in my opinion very slow and not attentive. He only came back once to check on us after our meal was served and when we were finished it took over 20 minutes to get our check. Even though we tried to get his attention.

Loved the authentic vibe here. Made me feel like I was on vacation or in Mexico. Our waiter was almost jogging around the restaurant but in a happy good way. Refilled our drinks quickly and refilled our chips and salsa before we were even done with our first batch. Food was delicious. The 2 burritos we got at the table were a little too wet on the outside with all the salsa and cheese drizzled on top. But other then that we were happy with this place. We will return.

Love this place..steak and shrimp is our favorite..the free salsa and chips are to die for and the Staff are very friendly..they make you feel welcomed

Stopped here with coworkers after a long day at work. We were seated quickly in a very large booth with padded seats. Our server was at the table quickly with menus and taking drink orders. The menu has a large selection of items to choose from. Two of our party ordered margaritas, word of caution, the medium margarita is rather large. I'll stick to the small size. I had the chicken fajitas. It was fine and a rather large serving. Our service was excellent, food middle of the road. Still it's a nice place to try.

Food salty and bland; excellent service and excellent margarita

We were shown to a table quickly and were waited on right away. The waiter was really good. The margarita was excellent. The food was bland and salty. Had tacos and a sampler dinner. Good place for drinks and chips. We are used to real Mexican food with the wonderful flavors and spices from Mexico and the food here was very bland and salty.

Great chicken with Adobe sauce

Stopped in for lunch today. Enjoyed the chips and salsa to start and cold beer on tap. I had the chicken Adobe and my hubby had the chicken el Parilla. So delicious and huge portions. Staff will make u feel at home.

It is nice to be surprised now and again, and I certainly was surprised to find this family run restaurant in Chippewa. We stopped by for lunch on Saturday. Service was excellent, and the range of lunchtime specials very comprehensive. The complimentary tortilla chips and fresh salsa were delicious. I chose a fundido, which was like a fried enchilada, with rice, avocado, cheese and salad. It was first class. There is a high level of authenticity here, and I am already thinking of good reasons to go back.
